His Captive Obsession Chapter 15

His Captive Obsession Chapter 15

After a thorough medical examination, I fell asleep in Daddy’s arms.

I woke up briefly to hear the doctor speaking to him.

“She’s fine. Her mother’s stable genes helped balance things out. Toddlers just lack impulse control; she’ll grow out of it with proper guidance.”

“I see,” Daddy nodded, taking the medical charts before asking, “And what about me?”

The doctor glanced at Daddy’s scratched hands. “Didn’t your old method work?”

“A rabid dog bites people because it needs a collar, but a highly intelligent rabid dog is different—it can lock itself up.”

Daddy’s usual arrogance vanished completely. “I learned how to pick the lock.”

The doctor rolled his eyes in sheer disbelief. “So you’re telling me you broke out, ran into the street, and got hit by a car like a total idiot?”

“She wasn’t coming back,” Daddy’s voice crackled with tears. “Doctor, you don’t understand. Valerie is so beautiful, there are always disgusting insects trying to get close to her… I know exactly how I won her over, and I was terrified someone else would do the same. That’s why I ran out, got hit, and lost my memories.”

“Thank goodness I had her face tattooed on my body. But she was purposely hiding from me, she didn’t want me anymore…”

He looked like he was about to cry himself into a puddle.

After a long silence, the doctor remarked, “She really is a wonderful woman. I still remember meeting her last time.”

“Too bad she got stuck with a psycho like you after saving your life.”

As the doctor kept talking, Daddy remained dead silent, his stunning eyes darkening with pure, unadulterated malice.

“Do you really think you have any right to talk about my wife?”

Mr. Clark stepped forward to take me from Daddy’s arms just as the doctor suddenly jabbed a syringe into Daddy’s arm.

“High-strength sedative,” the doctor smirked. “I knew you’d snap. I’m not getting beaten up by you again!”

The doctor let out a sigh of relief, but his smile froze when Daddy burst into a terrifying, ethereal laugh.

The veins on the hand he used to grip the edge of the desk bulged as he trembled with a mix of intense excitement and fury.

“How dare you even think about my wife? You’re a dead man.”

The sedative worked, but clearly not fast enough.
