My Future Self Exposed My Mom’s Secret Sacrifice Chapter 06

The recorded audio blared Kian and Jasper’s voices loud enough for everyone in the room to hear

clearly.

“Seraphina definitely sends you far more money each month. We’re just holding onto it so you

don’t waste it as a teen.”

“You carry her Voss surname instead of Hale-paying us back for raising you is reasonable.”

Every sentence echoed like brutal slaps to their faces.

All traces of arrogance and composure vanished completely.

They trembled from head to toe, unable to lift their heads to meet Seraphina’s furious stare.

By the time the recording finished playing, Seraphina’s face was pitch black with unbridled rage, her jaw grinding tight.

She stood abruptly, driving the sharp heel of her shoe hard into Kian’s shoulder, sending him crashing onto the floor.

Before he could scramble back up, she pressed her heel down into the fresh bruise on his arm.

Painful, screaming cries tore out of Kian’s throat and bounced off every wall in the estate.

“I wire her a hundred grand every single month!” Seraphina screamed, eyes blazing red with fury.

“You siphon nearly all of it and leave her with thirty dollars to survive on, while you blow the rest living in luxury? Where do you get the nerve?”

Kian writhed in agony, hatred flashing across his face as he glared up at her.

“I’ve resented her every single day! Every glance at her reminds me all this wealth, every asset in this estate, belongs solely to you, and I hold no true power of my own.”

Seraphina let out a hollow, mocking laugh. “This estate and every corporate asset was built from \my family’s fortune-your last name carries zero weight here.”

He dragged a terrified Liora close to his side.

“Liora’s my

real daughter. She deserves the privileged life a Hale heir should have.”

Seraphina let out a hollow, mocking laugh.

“Hale? This estate doesn’t even carry your last name, Kian.”

Kian pushed himself shakily to his feet, sneering coldly.

“Don’t forget the last will and testament your father signed before he passed away.”

Those single words drained all remaining color from Seraphina’s face instantly.

A second team of private security burst through the doors right then, smoothly herding Liora and

the former housekeeper toward the exit.

Kian’s grin turned smug and triumphant as he limped toward the doorway.

“You begged your father to write those terms into his will years ago.”

“As long as we remain legally married, I hold twenty percent equity in Vertis Group.”

“That twenty percent stake might not seem massive on paper, but while you’ve been overseas, I’ve built a huge network of loyal shareholders on my side.”

“Ask anyone at corporate how the board lines up-most stand with me now.

He hobbled out of the manor after finishing his taunt, his group trailing behind him.

Jasper stayed standing alone in the empty living room, no trace of hesitation to follow his father

out.

His gaze toward Seraphina was frigid, filled with unmasked resentment.

Even after everything he’d done, he was still her biological son.

Seraphina’s voice softened slightly, though contempt lingered in her eyes.

“You’re my blood. If you’re willing to take responsibility for your choices and make amends, there’s still a place for you here.”

Jasper barked a mocking, disbelieving laugh.

“You expect me to stay loyal to you, an old woman who’s always looked down on Dad?”

Dream on.

He straightened his back, pride oozing from every word he spoke.

“As long as I stand firmly beside Kian, he’ll win this corporate battle in the end. I’m your only

remaining natural heir, after all.”

“You ought to beg Dad and that woman for forgiveness if you want to keep any power at all.”

He

spun on his heel and walked out with his head held high, leaving Seraphina staring blankly at his

retreating silhouette, heavy heartbreak etched across her face.

I squeezed Seraphina’s hand tight to comfort her.

“It’s alright, Mom. I’m right here with you through everything.”

She offered me a weak, reassuring smile, opening her mouth to speak when her smartphone buzzed nonstop with incoming messages from Vertis Group’s board members.

All shareholders demanded an emergency corporate board of directors meeting immediately, claiming the company needed new leadership at the helm.

Seraphina glanced at the screen, a cold sneer tugging at her lips.

They’re in such a rush to seize control, aren’t they?

Fine. I’ll attend their meeting and settle this for good.
