“I’m pregnant with your child, Julian! If you don’t believe me, we can go get a DNA test right now!”

Julian looked completely stunned, as if the last ounce of strength had been drained from his body.

“How is that possible? We always… I always used protection!”

Felicity’s eyes darted away in a flash of panic, but her tone only grew more strident.

“I poked holes in them a few times. I don’t care. This is your child, and you have to take responsibility for me!”

I watched her coldly. Trying to use a baby to secure her place in the Ashworth family? She clearly hadn’t heard that the luxury liner she’d boarded was now a sinking wreck.

Julian’s shock finally gave way to fury. He shot to his feet and shoved Felicity hard by the shoulder.

“You lunatic!”

Felicity screamed and lunged at him, clawing at his face.

The two of them devolved into a screaming, scratching brawl. Papers scattered across the floor. It was a pathetic scene.

Amid the chaos, I picked up the divorce agreement he had just signed and gently folded it.

I didn’t spare them another glance. With my bodyguards flanking me, I turned and walked out of that suffocating office.

Downstairs, Wyatt’s car was already waiting.

I climbed into the warm interior, and soon our private plane was taking off.

Destination: Texas.

I was finally going home.
