The Lycan King’s Stolen Luna: Faking Amnesia to Revenge My Alpha Chapter 02

“Get out.”

The word hit like a physical slap.

Ten years together. Seven years dating, three bound by the mate bond. In all that time, he had never once raised his voice at me.

Even during our worst fights, he always gave in. He would let me vent, then pull me into his arms and hold me until I calmed down.

The harshest thing he’d ever said to me was, “Pooh Bear, have you thrown enough of a tantrum?”

Tonight was supposed to be the same. He had driven out into a raging storm just to get me pizza because we’d fought. Then the crash happened.

And now, after one drive, he forgot me?

“Ethan, I’m your Luna,” I said, trying to force reality on him.

I waited for him to drop her hand, to pull away.

He didn’t.

He just raised a cold eyebrow, looking down at my bare, mud-stained feet with open disgust.

“You’re not my type,” he said, flat and certain.

I froze.

My inner wolf flooded the room with pheromones, desperate to spark his instinct. But his aura was a brick wall. Cold. Completely shutting me out.

He doesn’t want us, my wolf whimpered, curling into a ball of agony inside my mind.

I could still picture him on one knee, proposing. He had held the ring with absolute devotion and said, “If you don’t marry me, I’ll end up alone forever. Take pity on me, will you?”

Touched but stubborn, I had hidden my joy and scoffed, “I don’t believe you. There are plenty of she-wolves out there.”

“But you’re the one the Moon Goddess chose for me. Without you, I’d die.”

The memory of that devoted boy blurred into the icy face of the man standing before me.

Tears spilled over.

I forced myself to breathe. It’s just amnesia. As long as he was alive, he would remember us. One step at a time.

Ethan didn’t believe I was his Luna.

The next day, I brought our Mate Bond Agreement.

He stared at our photos and the date of our mate ceremony, silent for a long time.

I watched him, my heart full of hope. “Do you remember anything?” I whispered.

When he looked up, his green eyes still held nothing but freezing disgust. My heart sank.

He still didn’t know me.

Then, the door clicked open.

“Bear, I brought you mushroom soup and your favorite beef patties. Try some…” Chloe’s sweet voice trailed off.

She looked at me, nervous. “Miss Lane, why are you here again?”

Hearing her call him Bear snapped something inside me.

That was our nickname.

Without Chloe, we wouldn’t have fought.

Without that fight, he wouldn’t have driven out late at night.

He wouldn’t have crashed. He wouldn’t have lost his memory.

All my restraint vanished.

I marched over and slapped her across the face.

Slap.

The sharp sound echoed through the room.

“I’ve told you a thousand times, Chloe,” I spat, shaking with rage. “Ethan has a Luna. He is my mate. Our bond is blessed by the Moon Goddess!”

“Stay away from him. Have you no morals? You’re a college student—didn’t your parents teach you any basic decency?”

Chloe shrieked, clutching her cheek as she turned to run.

But Ethan moved like a blur, pulling her into his arms.

He rubbed her back, glaring at me with icy eyes.

“Apologize. Now!”
