My Alpha trashed his car and woke up with amnesia.

He remembers every single person except me. He wiped out our entire ten years together.

Instead, he’s got his arms wrapped around his young secretary, staring me down with eyes like ice.

“Apologize to Chloe!”

At first, I thought he was confusing her with me.

I was wrong. He was faking it.

So, to pay him back, I played the amnesia card too—and crawled into his best friend’s bed.

“Moon Goddess, what did I do? I shouldn’t have snapped. I shouldn’t have started that fight.”

“If Ethan dies, it’ll rip my soul apart.”

An hour ago, Ethan slammed the phone down on me. It was our worst fight in three years.

To make it up to me, he drove out into a torrential downpour just to grab me a pizza. Then he crashed.

The second the pack linked me the news, my mate bond violently spasmed. I went completely numb.

I didn’t even grab shoes. I just ran like a maniac all the way to the Silver Ridge Pack Hospital.

I ran straight into Marcus outside the room. The pack doctor looked stunned to see me. “Luna, you’re drenched!”

“Ethan… is he okay?” I choked out, ignoring the water dripping off me.

“Physically, the Alpha is fine. But he took a hard hit to the head…” Marcus trailed off, refusing to meet my eyes.

“Is he in there?”

I reached for the doorknob, but Marcus blocked me. “Luna, wait. Listen to me first.”

I stared at him, hollowed out. “What are you hiding? Is he okay or not?”

Marcus nodded, tapping his temple. “He’s fine, but his head… he’s acting weird. I don’t know how to explain it. You just have to see for yourself.”

“Just promise me, Luna. No matter what you see in there, keep your cool.”

I wasn’t even listening. The agony radiating through the mate bond was gutting me from the inside out.

As long as Ethan was breathing, I didn’t care. I’d do anything. I would never argue with him again.

But then I threw the door open—

And found my Alpha gently cuddling a young she-wolf in a sleek white dress.

Chloe. His secretary.

The room reeked of her sickening Omega heat.

A month ago—because I couldn’t stand her—Ethan had promised to banish her from our pack lines.

Our fight tonight had been entirely about her.

Startled by the door, Chloe looked up, caught me watching, and instantly scrambled away from Ethan like a scared deer.

“Ethan…”

My stomach sickened at the sight of her. I locked eyes coldly with the man on the bed.

Ethan frowned, his gaze tracking back to me. It was the look of a total stranger.

The thick gauze around his forehead sent a sharp pang of guilt straight to my heart. I took a step toward him.

Suddenly, Ethan turned to Chloe, his voice dripping with sweetness. “Who is she?”

Chloe offered a guilty, hesitant glance. “She’s Lu… Miss Lane.”

Ethan held out his hand.

Chloe slipped her fingers right into his palm.

“A friend of ours?” he asked.

Chloe shook her head.

Watching their hands interlock, a fresh wave of fury surged right back up my throat.

The man looked back at me. Those green eyes—eyes that used to look at me with nothing but devotion—were now filled with pure disgust.

The realization hit me like a physical blow. My eyes widened, my voice shaking. “You… you don’t…”
