The Queen Boss’s Revenge Chapter 05

The Queen Boss’s Revenge Chapter 05

Luca shielded Veronica tightly in his arms, his eyes bloodshot as he screamed at me over the noise. “Sofia! Have you completely lost your mind?! You brought an armed mob to wreck my home!”

“A home invasion?” I looked down at him coldly. “Luca, I bought this entire estate. Every piece of furniture here was handpicked and paid for by me.”

“I bought it, and now I find it filthy. If I want to pay to hear it smash, that is entirely my prerogative. What are you going to do about it?”

The secret passage had been compromised.

I would simply buy a brand new estate.

A fortress that would bear absolutely no trace of Luca’s existence.

Several soldiers stormed into the walk-in closet.

They dragged out Luca’s custom suits and rare sneakers, tossing them into the mud and trampling them ruthlessly.

Watching the pristine status he so desperately curated get dragged through the dirt, Luca shook with violent rage.

He lunged toward me frantically.

“Sofia, you think you can rule the world just because you have a little bit of money?!”

“When things were at their absolute worst, I stayed in that leaking basement with you and shared cans of food!”

“Are you really going to be this merciless over mere material possessions?!”

There it was again.

That pathetic phrase. The ultimate excuse that allowed him to bask in his own self-delusion.

“Luca, how do you still have the audacity to bring up that basement?”

My words hit him like a physical blow, forcing him to take a step back.

His face turned completely white, his lips trembling, but not a single sound came out.

Ignoring him, I walked past him toward Veronica, who was trembling on the floor.

She scrambled backward in terror.

Her hands clutched the pearl crown on her head with desperate strength.

“Sofia… please don’t hit me… I’ll give the crown back… but Luca gave it to me.”

She wept pitifully, casting desperate glances at Luca. The hypocrite claimed she wanted to return it, yet her fingers held on with absolute iron strength.

Luca tried to step in, but two soldiers wielding iron crowbars silently stepped into his path, blocking him completely. “You aren’t letting go?” I asked.

She looked absolutely terrified, extending the crown toward me while

simultaneously pulling back with immense force.

With a sharp snap, the metal yielded.

The crown broke cleanly in half.

The final heirloom my grandmother had left me was now completely ruined.

My heart felt as if it were being torn apart by bare hands, but I forced back my tears, refusing to let a single one fall.

“Sofia, you’ve gone too far!” Luca yelled, looking around at the absolute ruin of the house, finally snapping. “Do this, and I swear I will leave you!”

“Fine.”

I turned my back on him, walking out into the pouring rain.

“Level the rest of it,” I called out over my shoulder. “Give Mr. Luca and Miss Veronica a proper show.”

Behind me, Veronica collapsed into hysterical tears, while Luca’s voice cracked in pure panic. “Sofia! Sofia, wait!”

I didn’t stop.

I climbed into my luxury vehicle and immediately sent a text to my attorney.

[Tomorrow morning at 9:00 AM, execute all asset stripping protocols.]

[Furthermore, notify corporate security. Effective tomorrow, Luca is

permanently barred from entering any property owned by the family.]

Two days later.

Inside the city’s most exclusive luxury jewelry boutique.

Veronica leaned closely against Luca, pointing at a flawless pink diamond ring showcased in the glass counter. She cooed cutely.

“Luca, the crown you gave me was destroyed by Sofia, and we can’t even stay at the estate anymore.”

“Can you buy me this ring to make up for it? Please?”

Luca had been overwhelmed with a deep sense of dread for the past forty-eight hours. Neither of us had reached out to the other.

But to maintain his wealthy facade in front of his childhood friend, he gritted his teeth and pulled out his black Amex card with an unlimited spending cap.

“Run it.”

The sales associate accepted the card with deep respect and swiped it through the terminal.

[Beep. Transaction Declined.]

Luca frowned. “Is your machine broken? Try it again.”

The associate tried it three more times, her expression gradually shifting into something cold and mocking. “Sir, your card has been frozen.”

Luca snatched the card back violently and called the bank’s VIP

customer service line immediately.

“We apologize, Mr. Luca. The primary account holder, Ms. Sofia Ricci, has officially cancelled every authorized user card under your name.”
