The Period Blood Drew the Fish And He Called Me Dramatic Chapter 09

He shoved Sienna toward the deeper part of the tank.

Sienna screamed and grabbed his shirt.

“Adrian Whitmore, didn’t you say you’d protect me forever?”

Adrian’s eyes were bloodshot.

“Shut up!”

“You ruined me!”

“You have the shares, and you ran off with the money. How dare you still expect me to protect you?”

Sienna lost control completely.

“You deserved it!”

“You threw Evelyn into a piranha tank after she stayed by your side for ten years. Why the hell would I ever trust you?”

“A man like you ruins every woman who gets near him!”

As she screamed, she pushed Adrian toward the tank.

Their feet slipped, and both of them crashed into the water.

The fish surged instantly. The dark surface seemed to boil as layer after layer of shadows rushed toward them.

Sienna screamed first.

Her voice rose so high it barely sounded human.

“My leg! Adrian, help me!”

She clawed at him, trying to climb onto him, but Adrian grabbed her hair and shoved her away.

“Get off me!”

“Stop dragging me down!”

The water soon turned a blinding red.

Those fish were even more vicious than the ones I had seen that night. Once they smelled blood, they thrashed against Adrian and Sienna’s skin in a frenzy.

Adrian lifted an arm to shield his face, and a second later he let out a scream.

His sleeve was torn open, and several bloody gashes appeared across his arm.

Sienna was terrified out of her mind. She clutched the life ring and held it in front of her face.

But it could not protect her legs.

It could not protect her shoulders.

Her white skirt billowed in the water, blood blooming through the fabric in patches, like the smile she had worn while watching me suffer that night.

Screams tore through the entire aquarium.

I watched them roll, struggle, and kick at each other in the bloody water.

That day, they had stood at the edge of the tank and treated my agony like a show.

Now they finally knew how it felt when teeth sank into flesh.

Ethan walked up behind me and asked softly, “Are you scared?”

I shook my head.

“No.”

I only found it bitterly ironic.

They had turned my fear into entertainment.

Now their own fear had become the final show.

Ten minutes later, the rescue team dragged them out of the tank.

Adrian was still alive. So was Sienna.

But neither of them had even a trace of their former polish left.

Half of Adrian’s face had been mangled, and he could barely lift his right forearm.

Sienna was worse. The pure, innocent face she had always been so proud of was sliced open by fish teeth, with torn wounds running from her temple down to her jaw.

The doctor assessed them on the spot. They would survive, but it would be nearly impossible for them to look the same again.

I heard Sienna sobbing hysterically.

Adrian lay on a stretcher, his lips trembling so badly he could not form a full sentence.

Half an hour later, police sirens sounded outside.

Every second of security footage had been preserved.

In the video, Adrian and Sienna had lost their footing while fighting each other for the life ring.

They had grabbed, dragged, and attacked each other, refusing to follow rescue instructions.

In the end, the police classified it as an aquarium safety incident under investigation.

But everyone could see the truth.

No one else had dragged them into the deep water.

They had done it to each other.

Of course, the people who had filmed me, laughed at me, and placed bets on me that night did not escape either.

Ethan handed over their secretly filmed videos and livestream recordings as evidence.

Some were fired from their companies.

Some had their family-backed projects canceled.

Some were held liable for spreading humiliating footage online.

Mr. Whitmore Sr. personally knelt outside the hospital entrance for an entire night, begging me to spare the rest of the Whitmore family.

I did not see him.

I only had my lawyer deliver one message.

“When Adrian Whitmore used me as fish bait, not one person in the Whitmore family thought he should kneel.”
