Silenced Omega Chapter 33

Silenced Omega Chapter 33

This man, who never bowed to anyone, looked up at Laney, his entire body seeming to collapse in on itself.

“Laney, I was wrong. I was so wrong. Come back with me, please. You can hit me, curse me, kill me… anything. Just please, don’t hide from me anymore—”

Laney turned her face away, her expression unchanged.

“You don’t believe me, do you?” Preston suddenly drew a dagger and plunged it into his own left shoulder.

“Preston!” Camden cried out.

Blood gushed from the wound.

Preston seemed not to feel it. He pulled out the knife and drove it into his right shoulder.

“Is this enough? If it’s not—”

He raised his hand to stab himself a third time.

Laney finally turned back to look at him, the disgust in her eyes palpable.

Her lips moved, forming silent words.

She didn’t want to hear his voice.

She didn’t want to smell his pheromones.

Now, his scent just made her want to vomit.

“Enough. Stop acting. It’s disgusting.”

Preston’s hand froze.

“It’s not an act…” His voice trembled. “Laney, I really—”

Laney cut him off, a cold smile twisting her lips.

“Really what? You really regret it? You really know you were wrong?”

She raised a hand and pointed to herself, then to her stomach and her throat.

“Can my child come back? Can my voice come back? Will my leg ever be the same?”

She pointed to the Omega gland at the side of her neck.

“Can my pheromones come back?”

With every question, Camden and Preston’s faces grew paler.

“They can’t, can they?”

There were tears in Laney’s eyes, but they didn’t fall.

“Then what good are your words now?”

She took a deep breath and continued her silent speech.

“I just want to leave with Archer. Please, get out of my way.”

Camden saw her hand clutching Archer’s sleeve, and it felt like a knife in his chest.

“Laney, I know you hate us. But at least give us a chance to make it up to you—”

Laney looked at him as if he’d told a joke.

“A chance?”

“How many chances did I give you? And every single time, whose side did you choose? You always chose Genevieve.”

She lifted her head.

“Now, get lost.”
