The CEO Cheated On Livestream With My Credit Card Chapter 06

“As long as I don’t sign, I’m still a Hale. You can’t do this to me.”

My voice didn’t waver. “Make him sign.”

Against absolute force, Simon’s struggle was a joke.

The guard grabbed his hand and signed his name on the divorce settlement.

“All set, Ms. Hale,” the guard said, handing the papers to me. –

Simon looked like looked completely deflated. He collapsed to the floor.

His eyes went empty. He kept muttering under his breath, “It’s over… all over…

I tucked the divorce settlement away and swept my gaze across the room, stopping on the shareholders.

“As for the rest of you, the Hale Group Legal Department will be coming after every single one of you.”

Everyone-including Barry Emerson-dropped to their knees with a collective thud, crying and begging for

mercy.

I didn’t look back. I walked out of that disgusting place.

I got in the car.

I looked out the window at the building behind me. “Take me to the Hale Family Estate. My mom’s probably wondering where I am.”

I pushed open the front door. All my walls crumbled at once.

I hurried over and fell into my mother’s arms, my voice cracked. “Mom… I was wrong. I should have listened

to you.”

She let out a heavy sigh and gently rubbed my back with her warm hand. “That’s all that matters. You’re

home. You’re home.”

I lifted my head, tears streaming down my face. “I thought he loved me. But instead…”

“He’s exactly like my father. Calculated to the bone. All they care about is power and money.”

My mother wiped my tears. “It’s okay. It’s all over now.”

I went back to work at Hale Group. Every day felt full and happy.

And Simon?

Because of the massive embezzlement of Hale Group funds and serious tax issues, every asset under Simon’s

name-his houses, his luxury cars, even the custom suits I’d bought him-was added to the collateral list.

Ashford’s former richest man, once so riding high, became a broke loser overnight.

My executive assistant sent me a video. Simon was wearing a wrinkled shirt, his hair a mess. Completely drained of the confidence he used to carry.

In the video, he was in the middle of a residential neighborhood, knocking on door after door of his former

business partners. His voice was hoarse as he begged.

“Can you please help me out? Just a little money to get me back on my feet…”

“For old times’ sake…”

But until his knuckles were raw, every single door stayed shut,

Some partners even called security to drag him away like trash.

Then Simon went to find Celeste. I didn’t see that coming.

“Celeste, give me back everything I gave you. The villa. The houses. All the jewelry.”

But Celeste wasn’t sweet anymore. Her face was full of disgust. “Get lost, Simon. I slept with you for all that time. I earned every bit of it.”

“Stay the hell away from me. You’re not getting a penny.”

Simon’s eyes burned with hatred.

I turned off my phone. I didn’t want to watch anymore.
