One Hundred Rules to Tame My Impossible Billionaire Boss Chapter 10

One Hundred Rules to Tame My Impossible Billionaire Boss Chapter 10

The party was at Miles’s lake house.

He’d brought me a few times before.

Everyone glanced at me but didn’t give me a hard time. Polite on the surface.

Except for Blair’s cousin, Chase.

In the original story, he had a secret crush on Blair. He knew he could never be with her because of his status.

So he just wanted her to be happy.

He was the first person to call me a homewrecker online.

I have no patience for guys who play dirty like that.

Later in the plot, after finding out he wasn’t actually related to Blair, he volunteered to be her side piece.

A total hypocrite. Loose with himself, strict with everyone else.

He’s the one who suggested Truth or Dare. Trying to set up his crush.

We played. Twice, the bottle landed on Chase.

First time, Truth, I asked if he liked anyone in the room.

His eyes flicked to Blair. He admitted it.

Second time, Dare, I made him kiss someone in the room at random.

Chase chose a girl who had a thing for him, looking pissed. After he kissed her, I said casually, “Guys are allowed too.”

Miles’s eyes darted between me and Chase. He looked at Chase with suspicion.

He whispered in my ear, “Chase likes someone.”

“And he’s got a worse temper than me.”

I shot him a look.

He looked away and shut up.

After that little side show,

Chase spun the bottle and landed on Miles.

Bullet comments went wild, [Here it comes. The jerk is gonna make Miles choose someone to kiss.]

[The side character is genuinely nice. I don’t get why she gets such a bad ending. A girl who got played with doesn’t deserve to be harassed online. But when the guy plays side piece, he’s “devoted”?]

Chase and Blair hadn’t coordinated.

After he said “choose someone in the room to kiss for one minute,” he watched Miles closely.

When Miles’s first look didn’t go to Blair, Chase knew something was off.

The person who knows you best is your enemy.

Miles didn’t hesitate. He leaned toward me. “Okay?”

He’d gotten into the habit of asking permission for everything.

I was supposed to save his face in public, so I didn’t say no.

He looked relieved and, scared I’d get mad, kissed me gently.

Blair’s composed mask cracked.

Everyone’s faces shifted.

She couldn’t take it anymore. Made an excuse and went to the bathroom.

After the kiss ended,

I said, “Give me your phone.”

Before he could react, I took it.

Right then, Blair texted Miles, [Fine. You win.]

And I conveniently scrolled up and saw the bet.

Miles realized he hadn’t deleted the chat history. His face went white.

He never cleared his messages.

Panic and shock were written all over him.

He froze.

I didn’t say anything. Just handed his phone back.

Everyone there was sharp. They sensed something off.

For the rest of the games, Miles kept glancing at me nervously.

Blair noticed and quietly asked around.

But everyone just shook their heads. “No idea. She looked at his phone and that’s it.”

“His girl didn’t seem any different. No clue why Miles is acting like a kicked puppy.”

Blair looked thoughtful.
