The Broken Luna Rises Chapter 07By Novel7s / May 27, 2026 The Broken Luna Rises Chapter 07Inside the interrogation room. Lucien sat behind the one–way glass, eyes bloodshot, staring fixedly at Celine. He’d used his last connections to get permission to observe. The room was lit with pale, harsh light. Celine’s hair was messy. She no longer looked proud or untouchable. The interrogating officer slammed a stack of evidence on the table. “Celine, you tampered with Elira’s brake system, causing a severe car crash.” “What do you have to say for yourself?” Celine lifted her head instantly, madness flashing in her eyes. “It wasn’t me! I didn’t kill her!” “It was Lucien! Brother made me do it!” Lucien’s fists clenched behind the glass. His nails dug deep into his palms. Celine’s voice was sharp and piercing, filling the room. “Brother was sick of Elira, that old nag!” “He said she was in his way, taking the Luna spot and annoying him!” “We aren’t even blood related! He hinted that if something happened to Elira, he could mark me officially!” “I only followed orders! Arrest him, not me!” The officer frowned. “Do you have proof Lucien ordered you?” Celine bit her lip anxiously. “Yes! My computer has chat logs of him complaining about Elira!” “He said he’d cover for me no matter what trouble I caused!” “He’s the one behind everything!” On the other side of the wall, Lucien’s body shook violently. He stared at the sister he’d spoiled his whole life, the one he’d chosen over his own wife. Now she was acting like a wild dog, throwing all the blame on him. Just to save her own skin. He laughed quietly at first. Then he laughed louder. He laughed at how blind he’d been. He laughed at killing the only person who’d ever truly loved him for someone so worthless. He threw open the door and strode into the interrogation room. Celine saw him and froze, then threw herself at him like she’d found salvation. “Brother! Get me out of here! I was lying!” “Tell the police you made me write that code!” Lucien kicked her away without mercy. He looked down at Celine on the floor, his eyes cold as ice. “Celine, you make me sick.” He turned to the officer and pulled a USB drive from his pocket. “Officer, this has more of Celine’s criminal records.” “Everything–money laundering, stealing classified information, all done through hacking.” Celine’s eyes went wide with disbelief. “Lucien! Are you crazy?!” “If you hand that over, I’ll get the death penalty!” Lucien ignored her screams and set the drive on the table. “I’m filing a real–name report.” “I only ask that the law punishes her as harshly as possible.” He turned and looked down at her limp body on the floor. “You liked playing games, didn’t you?” “Spend the rest of your life playing them in prison.” He walked out without looking back. Celine’s desperate curses and screams followed him. Lucien stepped outside the police station and looked up at the bright, burning sun. He suddenly covered his face and sank to his knees, sobbing quietly. “Elira… I got revenge for you…” “Come back… please…” I floated high in the sky, turned away coldly. Late remorse means nothing at all.
