He Mocked My Scar, So I Left Him to His Regret Chapter 08

His phone suddenly rang.

It was the silver-scar specialist he’d spent half a month trying to book an appointment with.

“Your consultation is scheduled for tomorrow at two p.m. Will the

patient be on time?”

Holden’s grip on the phone tightened.

“No.”

Lucia was gone.

Anything he did now was meaningless.

On the third day after Lucia left, Bianca noticed Holden had started to distance himself from her.

She couldn’t understand it.

She was prettier than Lucia, and the Lockwood family held a higher status in Mooncrest.

She couldn’t accept that Holden still cared about that “silver-scar

freak.”

So she stormed over to his house to demand an explanation.

“Holden, I sent you so many messages. Why didn’t you answer?”

“You’re this year’s graduation speaker. You’ve had your Westbridge acceptance for ages, so which school are you actually going to?”

“My grades were awful. All I can get into is community college.”

“Dad said he can send me to Europe to find a school that takes anyone who can pay. Do you want to come with me?”

She fired off question after question, oblivious to the icy look in Holden’s eyes.

He went into his room and came back with a box, which he

dumped upside down on the floor.

“Every time she was written up for cheating-it was all you. You and your friends.”

“The things you wrote in these notes… they’re so vile I can’t even say them out loud.”

“Bianca, you make me sick.”
