He Hypnotized Me to Love Someone Else Chapter 04

He Hypnotized Me to Love Someone Else Chapter 04

None of the people involved said anything.

The students’ attention quickly shifted to something new.

My roommate had hurt her leg after slipping in the bathroom.

For the past few days, my other roommates and I had been bringing her meals.

I had just left the university library when I got a message from her.

【Please bring me a taro cupcake.】

She attached a pitiful little crying-kitten emoji.

I agreed and changed direction, heading toward the campus bakery.

The new bakery on campus was beautifully decorated, and the bread and desserts were good too.

Sometimes, even people from outside the university came by just to take pictures.

I pushed open the door.

The bell above it jingled, followed by a clear electronic voice.

“Welcome!”

Silas, who was sitting by the window, looked up instinctively.

My gaze swept over him.

Then I casually picked a seat and sat down.

It had been almost a week since I last saw Silas.

At first, it really did feel strange not having my little shadow around.

But once I got used to it, I realized it wasn’t a big deal.

As for my mom, who loved experimenting in the kitchen…

All the food she had asked me to bring Silas had gone straight to my roommates instead.

At this point, my mom had basically gained three honorary daughters.

“Silas.”

Elise followed his gaze and noticed me.

She lifted her chin.

“I want to try yours.”

As she spoke, she shot me a slightly provocative look.

Silas stiffened.

He pushed the cake toward Elise, though he kept glancing at me.

“Feed me. Ahh.”

At Elise’s request, Silas instinctively looked at me again.

I was busy ordering.

Since I was already there, I packed one for my roommate and got one for myself too.

As for the two of them showing off their relationship, I ignored them completely.

The more I ignored them, the more exaggerated they became.

They started dramatically feeding each other bites of cake.

Even what they called each other got more and more intimate.

Just listening to them gave me goosebumps.

“Your cake.”

The takeout bag was placed in front of me.

“Thanks.”

The person didn’t move.

I looked up.

My eyes met a pair of clear, bright eyes.

“Serena, you’ve been chasing Theo for so long. Don’t tell me he still doesn’t even know who you are?”

Elise’s voice was openly teasing.

I looked away.

So this was Theo.

The face in front of me overlapped with the figure I remembered from the hotel.

And with the person I had seen in the alley.

When Elise finished speaking, Silas looked over too, suspicion in his eyes.

With everyone watching, Theo said casually,

“I’m about to get off work. Mind waiting while I change?”

He really was strikingly handsome.

Before this, I hadn’t understood why Elise and Silas had been putting on such a show at the bakery.

Now I did.

Theo worked here part-time.

Since he had already given me an easy way out, I had no reason to refuse.

I nodded.

“Sure.”
