After I Lost My Memory, My Star Athlete Boyfriend Said We Broke Up Chapter 19

Camille barely had time to react before a hand clamped around her upper arm, yanking her toward the open car door.

“Camille.” Killian’s voice sounded behind her.

“Killian, what are you-“The car door slammed shut, cutting her off mid-sentence.

Live comments exploded across the livestream feed.

[Holy hell! Is he kidnapping her?]

[This isn’t mere jealousy anymore; he’s skating dangerously close to breaking the law!]

[No, don’t let him turn into a criminal lead!]

The rear cabin felt cramped. She stumbled onto the backseat. Before she could sit upright, Killian’s tall frame loomed over her. One palm pressed into the seat beside her hip, the other clamping onto

her shoulder.

“Let go.” Camille’s tone turned icy. “I’m warning you,

let go.”

Killian stared down at her. The cabin was dim; only faint yellow streetlight seeped through the tinted windows. In the dimness, his eyes were dark and fathomless, catching only the faintest glimmer of her face.

“I won’t.” His hot breath fanned across her skin, thick with the sour tang of alcohol-he’d been drinking heavily.

“You’ve been drinking.”

Killian leaned in closer, his voice resonating near her ear. “I’ve been waiting for you. You spent two hours inside that gala, and I waited all two hours.”

Camille frowned. “Were you stalking me?”

“I came to find you.” His fingers tightened on her shoulder, knuckles pressing into her skin through her dress fabric. “Camille, you’ve been avoiding me these past two weeks. I’ve noticed. You route all work through your assistant and haven’t set foot on the training ground once.”

“You’re my agent. How can you refuse to meet me face-to-face? What is this about?”

“I’ve been busy.”

“What exactly do you intend to do?”

Killian released her wrist and stepped back, standing beneath the entryway light. He watched her, eyes bloodshot, lips dry, every muscle in his body taut as a wire about to snap.

“I don’t plan to do anything.” His voice suddenly softened, almost a murmur to himself, “I just want you to stay here, until I find a way to make you remember.”
