His Childhood Sweetheart Erased Our Wedding-So I Married Someone Else Chapter 10

There was no comment from Gavin.

I liked the post.

Noah leaned over to glance at the screen. “Is she doing okay?”

“I hope she is.”

I meant it.

Continuing to hate her would only waste more of my life. I did not want to give any more of my energy to what had happened.

That night at the hotel, I received a message request from an unfamiliar social media account.

“Erin, I’ve settled in another city. I’m not trying to bother you. I only wanted you to know that I’ll never again put someone else ahead of the person who should come first. I learned that far too late, but I still wanted to say it.”

I stared at the message, neither accepting nor declining the request. I simply left it there.

Some words are spoken only to ease the guilt of the person saying them. They cannot change anything for the person who receives them.

Noah came out of the bathroom with his hair still wet and one side of his collar turned up.

I walked over and fixed it for him.

He looked down at me with a smile in his eyes.

“Erin.”

“Hmm?”

“Next month will be six months since we got married. Do you want to take the wedding photos we never got

to take?”

I thought for a moment. “Where?”

“Your choice.”

“Then let’s go to the beach. Somewhere we can reach by car. No long trip.
