My CEO Husband Let Her Ruin Our Wedding Live Chapter 11

I showed up at the meeting the next morning right on time.

Stellan was already seated at the far end of the table.

Clean shirt, neatly styled hair, trying to look composed, but the fatigue still showed. Pale lips, dark circles, like he hadn’t slept at all.

I took my seat across from him without a word. “Let’s start.”

The meeting ran for an hour and a half. He stayed completely professional the entire time, walking through products, outlining strategy, locking in details with precision.

No personal topics, no hesitation.

Only once in a while, his gaze would drift to my left hand.

My bare ring finger.

When it ended, everyone filed out. He stopped me at the door, like it took everything he had just to speak.

“Mirelle… can I take you to dinner?” He rushed the next part. “Just dinner. Nothing else.”

“Sit with me for a bit. I’ll agree to anything you want.”

I pulled a folder from my bag and handed it to him. “Divorce papers. I’ve already signed.”

He went still. His eyes reddened, but he forced himself to look away. “Don’t rush this. Let’s eat first.”

He took me to that old diner we used to go to. Somehow, after all these years, it was still there.

Same faded newspaper clippings on the wall, same cheap plastic flowers on the table, nothing changed.

The owner came out when he saw us, smiling as he wiped his hands on his apron. “Hey, long time no see.”

He grabbed a flower and handed it to Stellan, just like he used to.

“No charge. You two must be married by now, right? What about kids-”

“We broke up,” I said.

He froze, awkward, then nodded quickly. “Got it… sit tight, I’ll get your food.

))

The dishes came out, still tasting exactly the same. I picked at my plate, but Stellan’s gaze didn’t leave me.

“Mirelle,” he said quietly, cutting in before I could speak, “I know you won’t forgive me. What I did… there’s

no fixing it.”

“But I still need to say it. I’m sorry.”

“For the wedding. For what I said on that stream. For putting Lysette before you.”

“For wasting fifteen years of your life.”

His voice dropped lower with every word. “I don’t deserve you.”

“You can ask anything from me. Even if we can’t go back… we could be friends. Or you can ignore me, just… don’t cut me off completely.”

“I won’t bother you. I just want to know you’re okay. I’m-” His voice cracked. “I’m not doing well.”

I set my fork down and wiped my mouth. “Thanks for dinner.”

“If you really want to do something for me, sign the papers.”

I stood up, looking down at him. “Stellan, you don’t mean anything to me anymore. I don’t even care

enough to hate you.”

“Take care of yourself.”

I walked out without looking back, already dialing my assistant.

“Pick me up.”

“We’re heading to headquarters.”
