My CEO Husband Let Her Ruin Our Wedding Live Chapter 08

The transition into the West Division went smoothly.

The roster was small. Most of the signed creators were barely known, people who came to Halcyon Bay hoping for a shot they couldn’t get back home.

I stepped back from the front line.

If I kept streaming, the audience would stay locked on me. The smaller creators would never break through, and the entire division would end up revolving around one person.

That wasn’t what I wanted.

I wasn’t here for commission.

I wanted equity.

“Fine, it’s all yours,” Gareth said over the phone, amused. “Whether this division sinks or takes off is on you. If you actually pull it off, you name your percentage.”

“I have one condition,” I said.

“Go on.”

“If Stellan asks where I am, you don’t tell him.”

He scoffed. “You think I’d hand you over? He already came by this morning. I sent him in circles.”

“Good.”

I hung up, pushed everything from my past out of my head, and stepped out of the VP office.

I clapped once to get everyone’s attention. “Conference room. Now.”

It took two years.

Two years of building from scratch, training every single person myself.

The division went from bleeding money to turning a profit.

From invisible to something people actually talked about.

I stood by the window later, phone pressed to my ear. “So what’s the split?”

Gareth laughed. “After your salary and VP share, I’ll give you half of mine.”

“Or we do sixty-forty. Hell, seventy-thirty if you want.”

“You’re a goldmine, Mirelle.”

“Come back to Greyford sometime. Show the old team how it’s done.”

My assistant nudged me from behind and handed over a contract. I skimmed the key terms and signed

without hesitation.

“Sure,” I said casually. “Book the flight and I’ll come.’

“Done!” Gareth said instantly. “I’m pulling options right now.”

He hung up in a rush.

I smiled, not taking it seriously.

Going back hadn’t even crossed my mind. I was doing just fine here. My parents flew out a few months every year, so it wasn’t like I felt tied to Greyford anymore.

And I’d heard enough.

Stellan was looking for me like he’d lost his mind.

If I went back and got caught in that again, it would just be trouble.

“Ms. Vance,” my assistant said, organizing the documents neatly, “the partner wants you onsite for product selection.”

“Once that’s finalized, we move into supply coordination. You can bring samples back for trial streams.”

“Where?”

“Greyford ”

tract.”

e partner section.

gnature at the bottom stopped me cold.

Stellan Cross.

I looked up. “Why the change?”

“The company was acquired earlier this year,” she said. “It’s under Crosswell Holdings now. He’s the acting

CEO.”

I clicked my tongue and waved her out.

Not irritated.

Just… inconvenient.

Especially dealing with someone like him.

I opened my phone and sent Gareth a voice message.
