My Rib Is Her Guitar Pick Chapter 07

My Rib Is Her Guitar Pick Chapter 07

Seraphina had been boasting across every major social platform about the guitar pick Malak stayed up all night to make for her.

But that pick had been carved from my rib.

Malak’s voice was unmistakable in the video.

“Ribs from cattle or sheep aren’t smooth enough

“Sera said a pick carved from that rib would have more soul precisely because it was closest to the heart. It

would resonate with her fans’ souls…”

“What makes you think her career could ever compare to Sera’s dream? Sera worked hard to become the Moonlight Performer…”

Outrage erupted immediately.

[Moon Goddess above, even a rogue wouldn’t sink this low!]

[Why should an innocent warrior be sacrificed for the mess between the two of you?]

[Sunniva was the Golden Warrior! Do you have any idea how hard an ordinary warrior has to fight to earn

that title? And then an idiotic Alpha and the Beta’s daughter destroyed everything she worked for! Seraphina

doesn’t even look guilty. They’re demons straight out of hell!]

Several musicians came forward with more revelations.

Seraphina had always proclaimed herself the Moon Goddess’s most beloved singer, but she had never

released a single original song. Malak had purchased ninety percent of her catalog from other songwriters.

If someone refused to sell, Malak used threats, money, and his influence to crush them until they gave in.

Even the handful of songs Seraphina claimed to have written were stitched together from plagiarized

material.

Her fans were shamed into silence. Some quietly unfollowed her, while others publicly renounced her and began organizing evidence against her.

Seraphina’s career collapsed completely.

When she found Malak, he was slumped inside the house that had been prepared for us to share after the bonding ceremony.

Broken liquor bottles surrounded him. The only thing left untouched was the urn he clutched tightly against his chest, protecting it as though it were his greatest treasure.

Seraphina rushed over and collapsed in front of him, sobbing.

“Malak, you have to help me. Everyone online is attacking me. My career is over…”

“All you have to do is announce that you and Sunniva broke the mate bond a long time ago. Then everyone

will shut up!”

Malak stared at her blankly.

“You told me Sunniva threw her drink at you because you kissed me. Why did you say those things to her?”

Seraphina avoided his gaze. “I was drunk. I don’t remember most of the details.”

“Is that so?” Malak held his phone in front of her face. “You deliberately had your fans placed in a detention area next to Sunniva’s and incited them to humiliate her. Then you ordered those people to beat her that night. Were you drunk when you did all that too?”

Seraphina had never imagined that he would investigate her.

“Malak, I didn’t do any of that. They’re only blaming me because my career has collapsed and they want to

save themselves.”

But Malak no longer believed her.

“Everything that happened is my fault. Seraphina, I did have feelings for you once. Maybe part of the reason I first pursued Sunniva was to spite my family, but I fell in love with her a long time ago.”

“You may be the Beta’s daughter, but everything you gained afterward came from my resources. Sunniva was different. Everyone looked down on her because she came from a common neighborhood, yet she relied on her own strength to become the Golden Warrior! She never asked me for special treatment. I think that’s why I loved her.”

Seraphina stared at him. “What are you saying?”

“It’s time for you to face the punishment you deserve.”

A group of Gammas entered with guards from the disciplinary dungeon.

Seraphina struggled desperately.

“No, Malak, you can’t do this to me!”

In the chaos, she knocked the urn to the floor, shattering it. Gray-white ashes and fragments of bone

scattered across the room.

Malak’s expression darkened instantly.

“Take her away. I never want to see her again.”

The Gammas dragged Seraphina away.

Malak dropped to his knees and began gathering the ashes piece by piece, his voice trembling.

“Sunniva, I’m sorry. I’m so sorry…”

One of the warriors who remained behind was about to help. Then he spotted one of the bone fragments and

froze.

“Mr. Ashwood, this doesn’t look like werewolf bone…”
