The Internet Told Him to Leave Me, but He’s Still Holding Me Chapter 13

That night, I shoved Damon onto the bed.

Then I straddled him like I owned the place, poking his chest like some kind of thug.

“Spill it. Those comments-were they yours?”

Damon tucked both hands behind his head and admitted it without missing a beat.

“Yep. How long have you known?”

“Since the day you downed that glass of milk.”

That was the day after I’d read the thread.

So he’d known that early?

Then everything he’d done over the past few days-he’d been playing me the whole time!

“You knew, and you still acted so cold?”

I jabbed his chest harder, wishing I could poke a hole right through him.

He let out a quiet, smug huff.

“That’s what you get for suddenly stopping.”

“Stopping what?”

“Clinging to me.”

“I only stopped because I thought you didn’t like it!”

His brows drew together.

“If I didn’t like it, would I have kept you by my side for over twenty years?”

“If I didn’t like it, would I have said yes when you confessed?”

“If I didn’t like it, would I have held back every single time you were uncomfortable?”

He kept listing examples until I suddenly interrupted him.

“Wait What do you mean, you held back because I wasn’t feeling up to it?”

He paused Then he looked at me like I was hopeless.

“What do you think I meant?”

The more he thought about it, the more annoyed he became.

He grabbed me, rolled us over, and pinned me beneath him.

Before I could react, he gave my lip a light bite.

Through gritted teeth, he muttered, “Every single time, you’d say it hurt, crying.”

“How was I supposed to keep going?”

My mind went completely blank. Then my face caught fire.

It was true. I had a low pain tolerance and I cried easily.

Especially our first time. I’d been so scared that I’d cried for ages.

In the end, Damon had looked at me with that long-suffering expression and asked me to finish him off with

my hand instead.

No wonder every time after that, he’d stop halfway through with that pained look on his face and disappear

into the bathroom for ages.

I’d honestly thought he just wasn’t that into it.
