He popped the metal case open.

Pulling out a thick stack of technical maintenance logs and invoices.

He tossed them casually at Gabriel.

White papers scattered across the floor.

Veins bulged at Gabriel’s temples.

He glared at Leo, his voice raspy like sandpaper.

“What silicone chassis?”

“What the hell are you talking about?”

“Is Luna alive or dead?”

Leo adjusted his glasses leisurely.

Stating facts coldly.

“The multi-car pileup three years ago.”

“When Luna reached the ER, her cervical spine was severed, organs failing.”

“She was pronounced brain-dead on the spot.”

Gabriel’s pupils dilated instantly.

Leo continued, every word a strike.

“I used the lab’s cutting-edge neural sync tech.”

“Uploaded her consciousness into this synthetic body.”

“She doesn’t have a drop of blood.”

“Where’s a kidney for your precious first love?”

Shattering Gabriel’s facade.

Chloe slumped at the stairwell, sobbing her heart out.

Leo shot her a cold glance.

“Because the ones who killed your mother are this scumbag couple right beside you.”

Gabriel and Sophie froze.

Leo patted the black metal case.

“Gabriel, you all thought that pileup three years ago was an accident.”

“But as the victim’s family, I spent three years.”

“Digging through every scrapyard and insurance firm.”

Leo pulled a manila envelope from the case bottom.

Smacked it right into Sophie’s face.

The envelope burst, documents spilling out.

“Sophie, the trucker you bribed did skip town.”

“But you forgot.”

“That two-million-dollar hitman wire transfer through the illicit offshore network required your signature.”

“And before the wrecked truck was crushed.”

“The mechanic secretly kept the dashcam SD card you ordered destroyed.”

Leo looked down at her.

“I’ve handed the entire evidence chain to the police.”

Sophie collapsed.

Her face pale, shaking violently.

She shook her head frantically.

“Not me…”

“Gabriel, he’s framing me!”

She crawled toward Gabriel, reaching for his pants.
