The Comments Shipped Him with Her, but He Loved Me Chapter 04

But after Dylan was locked up, his position gave him a clear view of my hiding spot behind the pillar.

So I had to call it quits.

I went back to my room, stared at the ceiling, and tried to fish for more spoilers from the comments.

No comments came for a long while, though. I was tired from the day’s adventure, and before I knew it, I’d fallen asleep.

I woke up the next morning.

Bleary-eyed, I called out as usual. “Bad dog, I’m hungry!”

One second.

Two seconds.

Three seconds.

No response at the door. I was about to blow up when I remembered—I’d locked Damon and Dylan up.

I hurried over to the quarantine room.

I’d missed the good stuff last night—who knew what had happened between those two.

Inside the quarantine room, Damon and Fiona sat as far apart as they possibly could.

In the next cell, Dylan spotted me approaching and fixed me with a glare, his resentful eyes practically boring into me.

“Oh, looks like Miss Fiona isn’t infected after all.”

“Guards, let them both out.”

I stretched and snuck a glance at Damon and Fiona’s expressions.

They looked like total strangers.

What happened?

They had all night to get closer—and nothing progressed?

The vanished comments reappeared.

[The villainess locked the male lead and our girl up yesterday. He thought she was mad at him, so he spent the whole night trying to figure out how to apologize—completely ignoring our girl.]

[This rich girl is such a drama queen. Did she buy herself screentime?!]

[Alright, everyone, chill out. Just wait for tonight’s kitchen scene. They’ll have a few drinks and then… get to the good stuff…]

Whoa!

There’s action tonight!

No way I’m sleeping early!

That night, I snuck over to the kitchen area and found a spot to hide.

Soon enough, Fiona came in, holding her stomach, looking for something to eat.

I didn’t dare blink, my eyes locked on the kitchen.

To make sure the ‘good stuff’ went smoothly, I’d had someone stock the kitchen with red wine and steaks.

I was just waiting for them to have a few drinks and then…

After ten minutes of waiting, Damon still hadn’t shown up.

Fiona had already finished eating and was about to leave.

“What the hell? Where’s Damon?” I muttered in frustration.

“Miss, were you looking for me?” a cold voice came from right behind me.

I jumped in fright, spun around, and saw Damon. My anger surged instantly.

I clenched my fist and started pounding his chest.

“What are you doing here?!”

“Get in there! Go have some fun!”

Damon frowned, looking confused.

“Are you hungry, Miss?”

“Alright, I’ll go prepare something for you.”

He said that and headed toward the kitchen.

I thought to myself—the female lead’s already gone. What’s the point of going to the kitchen now?

Grrrr…

My stomach growled. So I followed him inside to see what was available.

Fiona hadn’t touched the wine or the steak on the table.

What a waste!

I helped myself to both.

“Bad dog, are you hungry? Have some with me if you are.”

So we ate and drank, bite for bite, sip for sip.

I hadn’t had alcohol in so long that my cheeks were flushed and my legs felt unsteady.

“Bad dog, I think I’m drunk—help me stay upright…”

I reached out to grab Damon.

But there were multiple Damons swaying in front of me.

“Miss, don’t move.”

The next second, I toppled into his chest, my face burying right into his pecs.

Damn, he had a great body. I’d fantasized about this moment long ago.

Always had the imagination but never the guts to act—until tonight, when the liquor gave me the push I needed.

Huh.

Why did my neck feel wet?

And my clothes were slipping down…
