He lifted his foot and kicked me toward the corner.

Nolan threw the photo onto the floor.

Then he stepped on it.

His shoe ground against Adrian’s clean profile.

The image that once showed Adrian’s calm expression was quickly covered by dirt and footprints.

My eyes burned.
