Nathan dragged me to a run-down house in the middle of nowhere.

Then he called Julian.

“You want her back? Twenty percent of the company’s shares. Transfer it.”

Twenty percent!

I almost choked. Twenty percent?

And knowing Julian, he’d hand it over without blinking.

Something twisted in my gut.

Nathan pulled the phone away. He stopped recording and hit send.

He stared at me.

I was already moving.
