Jeremy reflexively released Elsa’s shoulders, but the affection in his eyes was gone. The innocent and adorable girl he used to like was also gone. Instead, there was only a woman full of calculations and jealousy.

As Jeremy revealed the cruel truth, Elsa finally panicked, and her tears fell.

She was not sad because of Vera’s death. She was just afraid that there would be no one to save her in the future.

Elsa looked at Jeremy with anticipation in her eyes, hoping to find comfort from his words. After all, he loved her so much. How could he bear to see her in such panic?

“I didn’t deceive you. I spoke the truth. From now on, you can only rely on yourself, so take care and don’t let yourself get hurt.”

After receiving his exact answer, Elsa couldn’t accept it. She widened her eyes and let out painful screams.
