I looked from Julian’s brows down to his lips, pressed into a thin line.

They say people with thin lips are cold-hearted. I never believed it before.

“I’m waiting for you outside your office. Taking you to dinner.”

I declined

“You go ahead. I already made plans to have dinner with coworkers tonight.”

But Julian kept waiting for me anyway.
