My Future Self Exposed My Mom’s Secret Sacrifice Chapter 05

Dozens of private security guards flooded into the manor, forming a tight circle around all of us.

Seraphina stepped inside on sharp designer heels, her expression dark and thunderous.

The room went still the moment she walked in.

Kian and Jasper’s faces bleached white on the spot, while Liora shifted awkwardly on her feet

beside the woman.

Kian rushed forward with a shaky, fake grin.

“You never told me you were flying back-I would’ve sent a car to pick you up.”

Seraphina let out a cold scoff.

“If I’d warned you ahead of time, you’d never dare bully my daughter so openly.”

Her gaze slid over to the woman hiding in the corner, her tone dripping with mocking recognition.

“Fancy seeing you here again.”

“You.” Seraphina’s eyes narrowed. “The housekeeper I fired for theft.”

Shame flooded the woman’s face, and she ducked her head without a single word of rebuttal.

Kian stepped in front of her instinctively, sweat dripping down his temples.

“Let me explain everything to you.”

“She couldn’t find steady work, and I took pity on her and her daughter, so I invited them to stay here temporarily.”

Jasper hurried over to grab Seraphina’s hand, his tone pleading and nervous.

“Don’t listen to Elowen’s lies, Mom. She stole jewelry from Liora-we only wanted to discipline

\ her.”

“Wouldn’t you trust your own son over her wild accusations?”

Seraphina pressed her lips into a thin line, turning her gaze fully onto me.

The security guards stepped aside to lead me straight to her.

The second our eyes locked, every ounce of repressed grief and hurt I’d held back burst free like tidal wave.

I hadn’t shed a single tear when I found out they’d stolen ninety-nine thousand of my monthly stipend to spoil Liora.

I hadn’t cried when they plotted to lock me away in a youth detention center.

But standing in front of Seraphina now, I couldn’t hold back my sobs any longer.

I didn’t say a single word to explain all the pain I’d endured.

I just stared at her, lips trembling, tears kept spilling down cheeks.

The ice in Seraphina’s face shattered into panic.

my

She rushed to wipe my tears away with her palms, voice soft and desperate.

“Don’t cry, baby girl. This is all my fault. I should’ve come home sooner.”

I only cried harder against her hands.

Kian tried to step forward with fake comforting words.

“Elowen, if you’re willing to sincerely apologize to Liora, we can forget all of this ever happened.”

“We won’t send you to that behavior program anymore.”

I hadn’t gotten a chance to reply when Seraphina spun around and landed a sharp, hard slap across

Kian’s cheek.

Her voice was cold, furious, and unyielding.

“Shut your mouth.”

“Did anyone bother asking what actually happened before demanding my daughter apologize?”

“Elowen’s always gentle and honest-she’d never steal anything.”

“You want resolution? Fine, I’ll give you resolution.”

She lifted a hand to signal the security team.

The guards surged forward to restrain every person in the room.

Kian struggled to break free.

A guard stepped between them and forced Kian back before he could get close..

The entire room watched as he knelt there unable to stand, the room went silent as Kian hit the

marble floor.

Seraphina guided me to sit on the main sofa beside her.

I calmed down a little, lifting a hand to point toward Kian, Jasper, Liora, and the former

housekeeper.

“Mom, I didn’t steal anything from her. They’re trying to lock me away because I uncovered their

secret scheme.”

“They take the $100,000 you send me every month, leaving only thirty dollars for me, then waste all the rest funding his other family.”

Kian’s face twisted with manufactured rage, putting on a wounded, betrayed act.

“That’s outright slander, Seraphina!”

“You know how loyal I’ve been to you all these years through every hardship-how could you doubt

me?”

“Elowen simply spends money recklessly, so I reined her in a little, and now she’s making up terrible lies about me.”

I let out a bitter laugh, pulling a small voice recorder out of my pocket.

“Slander? Every word on this device came straight from your own mouths.”
