I Harvest the Reverse Harem My Roommate Built With My Identity Chapter 05

At the mention of a face scan, Stacy’s face went white. She bit down on her lip, and a slight tremor ran through her.

A moment later, her expression shifted, and she put on a helpless, aggrieved look.

“Heather, you know perfectly well I bought this account from a trading platform. The real-name verification isn’t tied to my ID. Making me do a face scan now, isn’t that just your way of using the loophole against me?”

With that twisted argument, she neatly avoided the fatal flaw of the face scan while recasting herself as a victim being suppressed by wealth and power.

Before I could respond, she immediately turned to the four men and switched tactics, playing the emotional card.

“Accounts can be stolen, but everything we’ve been through together can’t be!”

Her eyes reddened as she looked at Lewis with deep emotion. “Lewis, when you were preparing for your law exam last month and pulled three all-nighters in a row, I stayed on voice with you for three days and nights. The day you had a high fever, I even ordered food for you. You said it was the most comforting bowl of stew you’d ever had.”

She then turned to the assassin, Shadowfang.

“Shadowfang, the day you argued with your father and ran away from home, who stayed in-game with you all night grinding mobs? Who else besides me knows the story behind that scar on your left wrist?”

She kept going, revealing one private detail after another, even mentioning Reviver’s pet dog by name.

Everything she said had been drawn out during those late-night conversations while she was using my account.

The atmosphere in the room changed almost instantly.

Lewis and Shadowfang’s expressions darkened. Those intimate conversations were something only the real Moonwalker would know. Their attention returned to me, filled once more with suspicion and hostility.

“Stacy’s impressive. That emotional move was flawless.”

“Yeah, even if Heather resembles the photos, she couldn’t possibly know those details.”

“Real feelings aren’t something you can steal. Heather’s done for.”

“Lewis, go ahead and see through this fake’s true identity!”

As she took in their change in attitude, a hint of smug satisfaction appeared on Stacy’s face. She straightened her back and regarded me with a victorious air.

“Heather, even if you stole my account and read my chat logs, you could never imitate how I truly feel about them. A thief like you, who only knows how to throw money around, doesn’t understand real feelings.”
