The Lycan King’s Stolen Luna: Faking Amnesia to Revenge My Alpha Chapter 12

The Lycan King’s Stolen Luna: Faking Amnesia to Revenge My Alpha Chapter 12

The moment I got back upstairs, my phone rang again.

It was Ethan.

He kept telling me Ryan was a liar and that he was my true, fated mate.

Naturally, I played dumb and acted like I didn’t believe a word.

He flooded my inbox with texts, but I left every single one on read.

Then my mother called out of the blue, asking me to come over for dinner.

The second I walked into her place, I found Ethan sitting with her, laughing and chatting.

When he saw me, he instantly scrambled to his feet, a warm, eager smile plastered across his face.

“Elena!”

He acted as if nothing had ever happened between us.

But with the memory of that explicit video burning in my mind, looking at his face made me want to

vomit.

He reached out to grab my hand, but I cleanly stepped out of his reach.

I already knew my mother wouldn’t have called me over for nothing.

“I’ll go finish up dinner. You two have a good chat,” she said, practically beaming as she headed

into the kitchen.

“Ethan, did you really forget me?” I asked, my voice deadpan.

“Did you beg my mother to trap me here?”

“You refused to see me,” Ethan said, his eyes filled with a desperate, painful sorrow. “I didn’t have

a choice.”

“Ryan lied to you, Elena. I’m your mate. Your mother can prove it!”

He pulled our Mate Bond Agreement from his pocket and thrust it toward me. Then, he held up his left hand, showing off his wedding band.

“The ring on my finger matches yours. I hired a designer to custom-make them. They’re one of a

kind in the entire world.”

“I even had our initials engraved inside.”

Terrified that I wouldn’t believe him, Ethan pointed desperately at the silver band, throwing out breathless line. “E&E. My forever lover. That was our vow.”

Moon Goddess, it was pathetic how familiar those words sounded.

Not long ago, I had used those exact same lines trying to save him.

Seeing me bite my lip and stay silent, Ethan panicked. “If you still don’t believe me, we can go straight to the Pack Hall-”

“No, I believe you.”

Ethan let out a massive sigh of relief, but his expression instantly turned dark and venomous.

“Ryan set you up, Elena. I’m not letting him get away with what he did to you. Come with me to the

pack office right now-”

“The she-wolf I saw at the dessert shop a few days ago,” I interrupted, cutting him off cold. “She’s

pregnant.’

“Elena, it’s not what you think! I never betrayed you. You’re the only woman I’ve ever loved. I just…

I got wasted. I made a stupid mistake.”

I locked eyes with him, watching the panic spike across his face. “So, you cheated.”

“I won’t let her have that baby! The Luna title belongs to you and only you—”

I almost laughed out loud.

“I don’t remember any of my past,” I said. I glanced at the ring on my finger, slid the documents back across the table, and leveled him with a cold glare. “I don’t know why I ever accepted a mate

bond with you, but I know one thing for certain-I would never fall for a man like you.”

“Elena, we’re childhood sweethearts! You loved me more than life itself—”

“But I don’t remember!”

I cut him off again.

Looking at his bloodshot eyes, I remembered how I had looked just two months ago.

I must have looked exactly like this.

No, I probably looked worse. Back then, my entire world revolved around him. I had trusted him implicitly, loving him with every shred of my soul, completely blind to his lies. And the man I loved used that trust to drive a knife straight into my chest.

His pain couldn’t even compare to what he put me through.

“If you’re truly my Alpha mate, and if you ever actually loved me, why weren’t you the one by my bed when I woke up in the hospital? Why weren’t you the one nursing me back to health day and night?” I demanded.

“Elena, that wasn’t my fault!” Ethan spat, his voice laced with venom. “It was Ryan! He had his eyes on you from the start. He hid the news from me. If I had known you were hurt-”

“But you didn’t even bother to call me once,” I countered smoothly, my voice dropping to a freezing register.

“As my mate, you didn’t even notice I hadn’t been home for an entire month? If our marriage was so perfect, we’d be living under the same roof, wouldn’t we?”

Ethan went completely pale, his chest heaving as he tried to scramble for an excuse. “Elena, / actually, I… I was in a car wreck too. I hit my head. That’s why I forgot you…”

“And now your memory magically came back? Now you’re sure I’m your mate?”

Ethan nodded frantically. “Yes! Absolutely!”

“Too bad you feel like a total stranger to me.”

“Elena, just come home with me. I’ll help you remember, I—”

A sharp ringtone cut him off.

Ethan pulled out his phone, his brow slamming together as he barked into the receiver, “What is

it?”

Before the line could even settle, Chloe’s screeching voice bled through the speaker.

“Ethan! Are you coming to see me or not? If you don’t show up right now, I’m taking the baby and jumping off the roof of your company building!”

“Don’t do anything stupid!” Ethan roared.
