The Alpha’s Discarded Luna: A Fated Rebirth Chapter 07

The Alpha’s Discarded Luna: A Fated Rebirth Chapter 07

As the truth was revealed, the way everyone looked at me changed dramatically.

The guests who had just been sneering and mocking me now plastered smiles on their faces, scrambling to surround me.

“Luna-oops, Alpha Lyra now! I always knew you were something else, running the whole Blackwood Pack like a queen. Turns out it’s in your blood, huh? Like father, like daughter-royalty through and through!”

“Alpha Lyra, I will forever remember the kindness you showed our pack. I remained silent just now because I intended to help you afterward.”

“Since it was all a misunderstanding, Alpha Lyra, with your great magnanimity, please don’t hold it against us. We hope for continued cooperation in the future.”

The familiar smiles had returned, but in my eyes, they held no value whatsoever.

I snapped my fingers, signaling them to stop.

“Quiet down. Don’t interrupt my show.”

From the moment Kael betrayed our mate bond, tried to strip me of my Luna title, and cast me out, I had longed to see his reaction when he learned the truth.

“Father, Mother, even if Lyra is your biological daughter, with all these years of affection between us, would you truly abandon me for her?”

Kael couldn’t accept it. His arrogance vanished, replaced by a pathetic plea as he tugged at my parents.

His voice was tearful, like a discarded child’s.

After a moment of silence, my father and mother gently but firmly released his hands.

“It was precisely because of those many years of affection that we gave you a chance. You were the one who squandered it.” My father’s voice was deep and resolute.

“Lyra is loyal and righteous, and you have truly disappointed us. Since it was a mistake/from the beginning, let’s correct it now. From this day forward, you are no longer our son.” My mother’s eyes held a decisive finality.

Kael never expected his once doting parents to utter such heartless words. He couldn’t bear the blow, losing his balance and bumping into Seraphina behind him.

Kael instantly clung to her like a drowning man grasping for a lifeline, his eyes filled with desperate

hope.

“At least I still have you, Seraphina. When will you mated to me? Our baby needs a complete family.”

Seraphina’s face contorted in disgust. Unlike my parents, she wasn’t gentle; she forcefully shook Kael’s

hand off, as if he were something foul.

“Kael, I was just toying with you! I’ll abort this bastard in my belly. I, Seraphina, will marry an Alpha of

suitable standing; you’re not worthy of me.”

Seraphina struggled internally for a moment, then forced a smile at me, attempting to salvage the

situation.

“Alpha Lyra, there are no eternal enemies, only eternal interests. I hope the Blackwood Pack and the Seraphina family can forge a strong alliance in the future. This is a token from my family; I hope you’ll

accept it -”

I picked up the token with two fingers, glanced at it dismissively, then tossed it to the ground and stepped on it.
