After all these years, Chloe was the only other woman.

In his mind, Amelia had blown everything completely out of proportion.

Besides, he’d never seriously considered divorce. As long as she stopped making trouble and trying to manage him, he would have eventually come back to her. He always did.

Ethan picked up his phone, deciding he would call Amelia and smooth things over.

But before he could dial, a notification popped up on the screen.

He’d been blocked.

He frowned. That was impossible.

He had been with Chloe for years. Even at her angriest, Amelia had never blocked him.

Before he could process it, his phone vibrated again.

It was Chloe.

“Ethan! Amelia leaked our story to the press!” Chloe’s tearful voice burst through the speaker the moment he answered. “The internet is full of horrible stories now. My endorsement deals—they’re calling me, Ethan!”

“What am I going to do?” she sobbed. “How could Amelia be so cruel? Does she have to destroy me to be happy?”

Listening to her frantic crying, Ethan’s frown deepened.

Amelia was pulling the same stupid stunt as last time.
