He Filmed Us In Bed Then Took My College Admission Chapter 06

Something exploded inside Logan’s head.

He stood there like a ghost, staring blankly at the river.

Then he lunged at the rescue worker like a madman. “No. She’s not dead. She promised me. We

were going to get married. She wouldn’t leave me.”

“Go down and save her! She’s always been timid. The river water is freezing cold, she must be waiting for me somewhere.”

He shoved the worker so violently that he stumbled, and it took great effort to restrain him.

Logan was sobbing hysterically, dropping to his knees, pleading. “Please save my girlfriend. Please.

I can’t live without her…”

In that moment, every small, happy memory from the past ten years strung itself together like

wires and wrapped around Logan’s heart.

The laughter. The tears. His promises to love her forever. All of it shattered into pieces he couldn’t

hold onto.

He curled up on the ground, crying so hard he couldn’t breathe.

Just then, a figure stepped in front of him.

His heart leaped with hope, but before he could look up, a boot slammed into his chest and sent him rolling several feet.

My father stood there, fists clenched so tight his knuckles were white. “What did you promise me? You said you’d protect Eliana. Take care of her. Never let anyone hurt her. That’s the only reason I let you two be together.”

His voice broke. He walked over and kicked Logan again. “And this is how you take care of Eliana? Because of you, the whole internet is cursing my daughter. They hounded her to death.”

“Logan, you killed my daughter. You murdered her. And you have the nerve to act heartbroken here? Get the hell out of my sight.”

Logan crawled toward my father, sobbing. “Sir, please. I can’t leave. I have to wait for Ellie. She’s not dead. She’s still alive.”

My father closed his eyes, his voice shaking badly. “Don’t pretend I didn’t know what was going on just because I was busy with work. Where did Eliana’s Crestmont admission spot go? Why did those online vigilantes chase her down and drive her into the river?”

“If you have any conscience left, you’ll find out the truth. Give my daughter justice. My Eliana was so good. So kind. How could you do this to her?”

By the end of his words, my father’s chest heaved violently, his eyes bloodshot with grief and rage.

He spared not another glance at the broken man crumpled on the ground and turned to leave, as if staying any longer would only sully his sight.

After a long time, Logan wiped the tears from his face and stood up.

When he got back on his feet, all that was left in his eyes was cold, dead rage.

When he got back to the hospital, Sierra was on speakerphone, crunching on a bag of expensive potato chips.

Her clear laugh was full of barely concealed glee. “She really drove herself to jump into the river? Lucky I hired such competent trolls. They posed as furious netizens to corner her and took Eliana out without a hitch.”

“You hired someone to fake your own dirty photos and blame Eliana, then stole Logan’s phone and posted his sex video with Eliana everywhere. Does Logan know yet?”

“They’ve been together for ten years, and the Winthrops are powerful in Ashford. Aren’t you afraid he’ll find out and come after you?”

“Please.” Sierra licked the chip crumbs off her fingers, her voice dripping with disdain. “Ten years? If their relationship was so solid, there wouldn’t have been room for me. You really think if Logan finds out, he won’t forgive me? All I have to do is cry, and he’ll get on his knees and wipe my tears.”

“Men are pathetic. They don’t appreciate what they have until it’s gone. I’m not some idiot like Eliana, who only knows about love and feelings. I seduced Logan to get to the top.’

“Now that Eliana’s dead, all I have to do is keep Logan happy in bed, and I’ll never run out of money. I don’t give a damn about the Crestmont spot or that stupid necklace.”

“I only wanted them to piss Eliana off. She was born with better fortune and looks than me, so I was determined to make her end miserably.”
