To Hire A Billionaire As My Sugar Baby With Only $0.99 In My Pocket Chapter 03

I entered the amount again and sent over 1,111.

Graham didn’t miss a beat. The second he took it, he fired back three grand.

I was absolutely thrilled. Felt like I’d just stumbled on a goldmine.

But before I could even enjoy my little windfall, the System showed up.

It said, “Since when does a kept man give money to his sugar mommy? Send it back.”

I clutched my phone to my chest and argued with everything I had.

“And isn’t a kept man supposed to warm his sponsor’s bed, too? ‘Cause he sure hasn’t done that!”

“Who says the sugar mommy has to be the one footing the bill?”

“That’s just your outdated stereotype about sugar relationships!”

The System fell silent. For a full minute.

Long enough that I nearly caved, ready to send the money back just to avoid another neural jolt.

Then, to my shock, it spoke in a thoughtful tone. “Huh… that actually kinda makes sense.”

Wait, what? Was there actually room to negotiate?

But the System quickly snapped back to reality.

“No, wait. You’re just twisting my words.”

“I’m letting this slide once. Don’t make it a habit.”

I scrambled to agree.

Hey, money’s money. I still had plenty of expenses coming my way.

The next day, I had just finished a delivery.

When I turned around, I saw Graham by the side of the road. A woman was grabbing his arm and trying to pull him away.

Or more like, she was the one grabbing, and he kept pulling away.

Oh, I smelled drama.

I sidled over like the sneaky little gremlin I am, found a safe spot, and tuned in.

I knew her. That was Isabella Langley, the Langley family’s pampered heiress, fresh back from studying abroad.

Since their families were old friends, she’d been chasing after Graham for ages.

Isabella looked like she was about to cry.

“Graham, I’ve already gone this far. You won’t even have one meal with me?”

Graham looked distant as ever, his voice cold and detached.

“Sorry, Miss Langley. I’ve already got plans.”

Isabella raised her voice. “You’re lying. I checked already. Nobody made plans with you today…”

I was thoroughly enjoying the show when the System cut in.

“Go. It’s showtime. Snatch Graham back from Isabella and claim what’s yours!”

I looked at Isabella’s Lamborghini. Then at Graham’s Maybach.

Then at my clunky old scooter—which, honestly, might’ve been fourth-hand by now.

One question immediately popped into my head. “Me?”

The System roared, “GO NOW!!!”

Accepting my fate, I slowly drove the scooter toward them.

The System sounded furious. “Where’s your presence?! Move with confidence!”

I gunned the throttle, and the scooter took off.

A few seconds later, I arrived right in front of them.

I slammed the brakes. An ear-piercing screech ripped through the air.

The sound instantly silenced both of them mid-argument.

They covered their ears in perfect unison. Probably the first time they’d ever heard scooter brakes that sounded like a dying banshee.

I had bought this scooter from a used vehicle shop two years ago for a little over three hundred bucks.

Since then, I had replaced the tires twice, changed the battery once, repaired the brakes once, and lost two chargers.

All in all, this scooter had led a deeply tragic life.

I ducked my head sheepishly and muttered, “Graham, get on. Let’s go for a spin.”

Isabella frowned. “Graham, who is this?”

The System immediately urged me on. “Say your lines! Bring the drama!”

I gritted my teeth and dove into character. One smooth move—arched brow, cold smirk.

“Graham, you’re my man now, yet here you are messing around with some other woman.”

“Looks like someone’s forgotten who’s in charge.”

The System screamed excitedly. “Nice! Keep it up!”

Isabella’s frown deepened. “No, seriously—who even are you…”

I cut her off and lazily glanced at Graham. “Tell her who I am.”

Graham closed his eyes for a moment. He still looked completely drained.

Isabella stared at him in disbelief. “Don’t tell me… is she your…”

I confidently finished the sentence for her. “Sugar mommy.”

Isabella froze. Her eyes bounced back and forth between me and Graham.

Her eyes darted from Graham’s tailored suit to my delivery uniform.

Finally, she burst out, “You’ve gotta be kidding me.”

I ignored her completely and slapped the back seat of my scooter.

“Now get on. And remember—from now on, my car is the only car you ride in.”

Every inch of Graham’s face screamed refusal. But his body was strangely cooperative.

He swung one long leg over and climbed onto the back seat.

The overloaded scooter immediately groaned in protest.

Beside us, Isabella looked panicked. “Graham… do you need help?”

Graham let out a deep sigh.

“Miss Langley, as you can see, I’m currently Miss Harrington’s kept man.”

“So please, stop pursuing me.”
