“Deal.”

That night, the four of us sat down together for dinner.

It was also my first time interacting with Arwen up close.

She was straightforward and easygoing, nowhere near as mean as I’d imagined.

But because of Finn, I still couldn’t fully relax around her.

As we talked, I finally learned that Finn and Arwen had already been together for three years.

Three years.

Which meant…

I was the other woman.

A bitter feeling rose in my chest.

And if Finn truly treated Arwen well…

Then maybe I could keep this secret buried forever.

Noticing how distracted I looked, Hayden lowered his voice and asked softly,

“What’s wrong?”

I shook my head.

Hayden seemed to think for a moment before glancing toward Finn and Arwen sitting across from us.

Then, as if understanding everything instantly, he calmly said to Finn,

“We’ll split up tomorrow.”

Finn looked dissatisfied immediately.

“Why? Isn’t it better if we all hang out together?”

Hayden answered coldly, “No.”

Finn shrugged helplessly.

“Fine. As long as you’re happy.”

Beside me, Arwen secretly nudged my arm with her fingers and whispered,

“Cora, I swear Hayden treats you differently.”

I laughed awkwardly.

“It’s just because of work.”

That night, I sent Hayden a message.

[King Hayden, do you have any plans for tomorrow?]

Hayden replied almost instantly.

[Gamma Cora, is there anywhere you want to go?]

[No. I’ll follow whatever King Hayden wants to do.]

After all, this trip was mainly about accompanying Hayden during his pack visits.

Obviously, his preferences came first.

How could I casually make requests of my own?

About a minute later, another message from Hayden appeared.

[How about Disneyland?]

My heart skipped.

That was exactly where I wanted to go.

Back then, I’d once sent Noctis a link to the park.

[N, what if we go here together someday?]

And he’d replied:

[Sounds good. I wanna kiss you hard under the fireworks… and take you right there.]

The memory made my chest ache faintly.

Then Hayden’s next message pulled me back to reality.

[I saw your post saying you wanted to go there before. I got curious and wanted to see it too. Would Gamma Cora be willing to come with me?]

Two months ago, I’d posted:

[I really wanna visit Disneyland someday. Definitely adding it to my bucket list!]

I never expected Hayden to actually scroll through my social media.

My face heated instantly.

[Okay.]

The next morning at eight, Hayden and I met in the hotel lobby.

And the moment I saw him, I completely froze.

Today’s outfit suited him ridiculously well.

His hair was parted loosely to one side, the ends naturally curling slightly, making his sharp jawline look even cleaner.

Underneath, he wore a blue-and-white striped shirt layered beneath a black cardigan, paired with perfectly tailored Tom Ford trousers that draped elegantly along his long legs.

The loose fit somehow made his tall frame look even leaner and more striking.

His sleeves were casually rolled to his forearms, revealing smooth, toned lines beneath pale skin.

Even the simple motion of lowering his eyes to adjust his backpack strap looked unfairly attractive.

That overwhelming Alpha presence around him was impossible to ignore.

I stared too long and completely forgot to greet him.

Hayden noticed immediately and smiled faintly.

“What’s wrong, Gamma Cora?”

I snapped out of it and quickly shook my head.

“Nothing. I’ve just… never seen this side of King Hayden before.”

The corner of Hayden’s lips lifted slightly.

Then he asked slowly,

“So tell me, Gamma Cora… if I dressed like this to see my girlfriend, do you think she’d like it?”
