I Received a Text from 30 Years in the FUTURE—So I Sent My Billionaire Family to HELL Chapter 06

I had no idea where Vivian recognized me from.

Back when I was in Ashford, I’d already considered how powerful the Vanderbilts and Astors were. That’s

why I’d stayed up north all these years.

After all, one side offered a million dollars to buy me off. The other spent a hundred million on a single

birthday gift.

Better to steer clear than to throw an egg at a rock.

But I never thought even staying this far away wouldn’t be enough.

I thought the Vanderbilts had been hiding the truth from Vivian. Turns out she knew all along.

Not only did she feel no guilt, but she wanted to crush me completely.

Truly, the Vanderbilt family feeds her viciousness.

I let out a slow breath.

After Vivian left, I stumbled out of the stall.

I stood on the curb waiting for a ride. A flashy sports car zoomed past. Red hair in the driver’s seat was

impossible to miss.

I shook my head, dizzy, and leaned against a lamppost.

Couldn’t help glancing up at the ostentatious car stopped at the red light.

Lucas’s ride was hard to mistake.

As if he felt it too, Lucas suddenly looked at his rearview mirror. He sighed and turned to Vivian, who was

sulking in the passenger seat.

“Come on young lady, who pissed you off tonight?”

Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed a drunk woman leaning against a lamppost. The moment she pushed

her hair back, his heart skipped a beat.

By the time he looked again, she was already getting into a low-key black sedan.

He didn’t catch a single word of Vivian’s grumbling in the passenger seat.

When the light turned green, their cars passed each other. Through the window, that face made his heart

pound.

God… she looked just like him.

He glanced at his own face in the mirror.

Vivian suddenly snapped, “Hey! Are you even listening to me?”

Lucas snapped out of it and surrendered immediately. “Okay, okay. Anything you say.”

“That’s more like it.”

Vivian huffed. Then she thought about the photo she’d accidentally seen.

The person in that photo looked a lot like Lucas sitting next to her. She shot a glance at him.

They were twins. If Lucas ever saw her…

Vivian felt a twinge of anxiety. They’d made their choice years ago.

William had said Celia would never come back to the family. But still…

Vivian just didn’t want Celia to have any chance of rising up.

What if? What if?

She couldn’t risk losing everything she had.

Lucas couldn’t help thinking, “Just a coincidence.”

He knew what happened back then. He’d agreed not to bring her back. Vivian had grown up with him. The other one, his twin-he’d never met her. Who knew what kind of person she’d become after all these years?

What if she came back and bullied Vivian? What if she acted like Vivian owed her?

Tch.

The baby swap wasn’t Vivian’s fault. She was just an infant. She couldn’t do anything about it.

The adults’ mistakes…

Couldn’t blame her for that.

Besides, his parents agreed too.

His whole family decided not to reunite. Bringing her back would just make everyone uncomfortable. Better

to give her some money and let her live her own life.

But for some reason…

Lucas suddenly wanted to know how she was doing.

Because… they were twins?

He wasn’t sure.

But he was afraid that if Vivian found out what he was thinking, she’d feel hurt.

So he just thought about it.

And let it go.
