I Received a Text from 30 Years in the FUTURE—So I Sent My Billionaire Family to HELL Chapter 03

I Received a Text from 30 Years in the FUTURE—So I Sent My Billionaire Family to HELL Chapter 03

I rushed back to school.

Senior year was brutal. I hadn’t even checked the mistakes on my monthly exam papers yet.

Back at my desk, I tossed my phone into the drawer without a second thought and pulled out the test to review.

The questions were tough, but I’d still managed a decent score.

It’s just the last math problem. I kept thinking there had to be a simpler way to solve it.

I was still mulling over that simpler solution when self-study ended.

I packed up my stuff, ready to head back and grind through a few more practice tests.

When my hand touched the phone, I took it out anyway. Opened the last message.

It had come in right when William said, “No point making everyone uncomfortable. Better to keep things the way they are.”

Still timestamped thirty years from now. This time, the sender was Elias Astor.

[Celia, you’re insane. You think using dirty tricks to become Mrs. Astor changes anything? Let me make this clear—the only woman I’ve ever loved is Vivian.]

[From: Elias Astor]

My eyes stuck on the word “insane.” Then I couldn’t help opening the very first message again.

[…Elias already got revenge for you. From now on, she’ll rot in a mental hospital. I made sure the staff there will treats her harshly…]

[From: William Vanderbilt]

Staring at that text, my face went pale. And suddenly, the scene in front of me shifted.

I found myself tied to a chair, confused, electrodes stuck all over my body.

I opened my mouth to scream, but from the doorway came William’s icy voice.

“My sister lies all the time and suffers from delusions. Thomas, please treat her!”

“No problem, Mr. Vanderbilt.”

A massive electric current shot through my limbs. I curled up in pain, red-eyed, and snarled at William in the doorway.

“Why—”

All I got back was his gaze—like I was trash—and another surge of electricity, stronger this time.

In the end, I lay crumpled on the floor. Lost control of my bladder and bowels.

William’s face twisted with disgust. He looked down at me from above and whispered like a demon.

“Celia… why did you have to come back?”

“Celia? You spacing out?”

Mia had come over at some point. She waved a hand in front of my face.

I snapped back immediately. The scene returned to the classroom.

I slumped in my chair like a dying fish, staring blankly at her.

Was that… a nightmare?

Mia waved again, worried. “What’s wrong? You look so pale. You’ve been off ever since you… came back.”

I forced a smile. “Nothing. Let’s just go…”

But that night, I spiked a high fever.

When I woke up, I was in a hospital with an IV in my hand.

I was dazed for a long time.

The sharp smell of disinfectant hit me, and I started gagging.

My homeroom teacher, Amelia Brown, walked in with a thermos. Seeing me bent over the bed vomiting, she got so scared she started yelling for a doctor.

I blacked out again.

In the haze, I heard something like “too much stress.” In my dream, I gave a bitter smile.

Probably true.

I mean, I’d been having nightmares back to back.

The next time I woke up, a sweet, high-pitched voice in the hallway jolted me fully awake.
