She Made Me Burn I Sent Her to Freeze Chapter 05

Luke sped all the way back.

Thinking of the leering eyes of his friends earlier, he felt like he had lost all dignity.

When the facial recognition at the community gate displayed:

“User not found in system,”

His rage reached its peak.

He stared at the screen, his eyes bloodshot with fury.

“Where’s the property manager? Is this the level of service I pay for?”

He questioned sharply, but he didn’t give the security guard a single direct look.

Since when did these community dogs learn how to bite back?

The property manager arrived quickly, wearing a fake smile:

“Mr. Luke, your access rights have been revoked by the homeowner.”

“Outsiders are not permitted in the community. Please cooperate.

From start to finish, the curve of the manager’s smile didn’t shift a fraction.

Yet it caused Luke to break down, nearly throwing a punch.

But seeing the security guard holding up a phone to record, he forced himself to hold back.

His heart was filled with peak resentment.

Maya was being way too difficult! Too spoiled!

Wasn’t he just playing a little joke on her?

Besides, he had his reasons…

His sister had loved him since they were kids.

She was from a poor rural area and was already insecure.

If he had rejected her outright, wouldn’t that have been a death sentence for her?

His parents only had a slight issue with Maya because of Vivian.

But these were small things.

If she had just been nicer to his parents, wouldn’t all this have been resolved?

It was just that Maya was too much of a “princess.”

She couldn’t take even a little bit of grievance without cutting off contact with his family!

Women shouldn’t be pampered too much.

It seemed that after they got married, he would have to find a way to transfer all her assets to his

name.

Only then would Maya be obedient!

Luke drove away but was stopped again at the garage exit.

His car was actually being charged for parking!

He angrily took out his phone to scan the code, only to find that the Authorized User payment had

been canceled!

“Maya, there’s a limit to throwing a tantrum!”

Luke finally snapped, screaming inside his car.

He had nowhere to go, so he had to return to his parents’ house.

But as soon as he walked through the door, he heard Vivian in her room, screaming in a mix of

collapse and peak rage.

“Maya! You’re insane! I was just playing with you. Was there really a need for such a massive joke?”

“Just you wait! I’m going to have Luke deal with you!”

“You’re just a cheap hand-me-down Luke is done playing with. Get over yourself!”

On the other side of the video, I felt refreshed in body and mind.

I watched her freak out with a blank expression.

Luke quickly ran to the screen. First, he pulled Vivian into his arms with an affectionate look.

He comforted her with soft words, his gaze toward Vivian filled with doting.

Then he looked darkly at me through the screen.

His eyes seemed to say-

This is the punishment for your tantrum.

His tone became arrogant:

“Maya, you are being way too stubborn. I only put you in the basement for a bit. How dare you run away? Do you have any respect for me at all?”

“Come back right now and get on your knees to apologize to my sister.”

“Then transfer your house and money to my name, and I might consider forgiving you.”

He let out a scoff and stared at me quietly.

I found it beyond ridiculous.

Even at this point, did he still think I was just throwing a petty tantrum?

I sneered:

“Luke, does your house not have a mirror?”

Luke frowned deeply and asked:

“What do you mean?”

“What do I mean? Look at yourself. The fact that I’m not throwing up right now is a testament to my

manners!”

To be honest.

Luke’s looks were indeed handsome, which was the reason I had fallen for him at first sight and

pursued him.

But with everything that followed, even the best looks would only turn ugly.
