My Alpha’s “Private Messages” Had an Audience of Two… Oops! Did I Ruin Their Lives? Chapter 01

My Alpha’s “Private Messages” Had an Audience of Two… Oops! Did I Ruin Their Lives? Chapter 01

So my Alpha husband’s sweet posts about me?

The ones that made me think he was my fated mate?

They weren’t even his.

He let his little “childhood friend” write every single one. While she laughed at me behind my back.

And when I confronted him?

“You’re being dramatic, Aria.”

“Every Alpha cheats. Get over it.”

Excuse me???

I didn’t fight. I didn’t cry.

I just took the one thing he thought I couldn’t live without – his whole empire.

He wanted to teach me a lesson?

I returned the favor. With interest.

When I was eighteen, the guy I had a crush on created a private account just to mock me.

It was full of his disgusting posts about me. Comments on my body, my looks, even candid shots of me mid-shift, captioned with stuff like “This loser is pathetic.”

Only visible to his crew.

That whole thing destroyed me. I couldn’t shift for months. The wolf inside me nearly died from the shame.

At twenty-two, I met Alpha Zander Grimm at a pack gathering.

A friend brought up that old incident. After that, every single post Zander made on Instagram felt like he was talking directly to me.

I agreed to be with him and smiled, saying, “Zander, when you get sick of me, just break our mate bond clean. Don’t string me along.”

He kept posting about us for five years.

All our daily moments: me playing with the pups, laughing during full moon runs, curled up with him in our den.

I really thought this man was my forever.

Six months later, a drunk pack sister crashed at my place. I tried to return her phone and accidentally opened her Instagram.

Her feed didn’t have any of those posts about me I’d just seen on Zander’s account.

But I’d literally just seen them.

Zander said, “Aria, stop being childish. We’re almost thirty. My followers are other Alphas and business contacts. What’s it look like if I’m constantly posting about you?”

“You’re not some underage girl anymore. Do I really need to show off our relationship online? Nyx said you r Didn’t know you’d take it so seriously.”

I didn’t need him to show off

I needed him to stop playing games with our bond.

“Aria, calm the hell down! What’s wrong with you?”

The pain felt like someone was crushing my heart

The call was still connected.

The guy on the other end didn’t say a word.

Like my crying and gasping had nothing to do with him.

Only after I stopped hyperventilating did he speak: “Stop being so dramatic. It’s not that big a deal.”

Tears streamed down my face. Was I really being dramatic?

Fuck that.

Chaine you

I never asked him to post about me. I even told him our relationship was solid-we didn’t need to prove anything to anyone.

But he’d been lying to me the whole time.

That eighteen-year-old feeling came rushing back. That feeling of being treated like a joke.

Now everyone knew the truth except me. He’d even dragged outsiders into it.

“Just come back. You’re still my damn Luna. Don’t you think it’s embarrassing for people to see you like this? ‘Bond disruption’? Who’s gonna believe

that?”

That was the last thing he said to me.

He didn’t even come check on me. Like our bond breaking was just me being dramatic. Like it couldn’t actually kill me.

I lay in the pack’s medical wing, hooked up to machines monitoring my wolf’s heartbeat.

Then I remembered what he’d said about Nyx. Nyx Ravencrest, his childhood neighbor, that longtime “friend.”

I wasn’t following her IG, but I never forget anything. I found her account quickly.

And there he was.

That flirty, almost but not quite vibe was smeared all over the screen.

Sometimes you can see the crack only because everything underneath has already rotted.

1 kept scrolling until one post made my brain go “boom.”

[Managing someone else’s IG is exhausting. But hey, my copywriting skills are getting better.]

The screenshot was from my friend’s feed.

So those posts I thought he wrote… weren’t even his.

He’d told her everything like it was all one big joke, and she’d been writing them

The string in my chest snapped tight again. I couldn’t breathe.

The doctor quickly gave me more sedatives.

My fingers went numb. I kept whispering his name over and over.

He could’ve broken our bond clean and simple.

He didn’t.

He still thought I was that pathetic wolf from back then.

But I wasn’t anymore.
