His Perfect Wife Died The Day He Made Her Kneel Chapter 12

His Perfect Wife Died The Day He Made Her Kneel Chapter 12

He immediately tracked down a high-end private investigator.

“I want a total, unrestricted trace on Evelyn Sterling’s operations over the last month. Identify every coordinate, every asso、ate, and every communication transaction.”

ess than twenty-four hours later, a secure, unmarked wooden crate was delivered directly to his private

suite.

Inside lay several high-definition printouts and an encrypted USB node.

But the mere sight of the first three photographs left his face a ghastly, translucent shade of white.

Stumbling backward heavily, his spine crashed against the solid wood of the wall.

“Evelyn Sterling… you absolute, demonic bitch!”

He ground out the vow through his tightly clenched teeth, his eyes shot through with bloodshot veins. “Bring

that garbage to me. This exact second!”

Ten minutes later, a trembling, terrified Evelyn glanced cautiously around the stark room as Julian’s

bodyguards violently shoved her across the threshold.

The exact second her eyes took in the heavy, industrial patient-restraint chair bolted down in the center of

the concrete floor, her pupils shrank in pure panic. Forcing a fragile, syrupy pout, she whimpered softly,

“Julian… did you finally bring me here to listen to my explanation?”

Julian sat motionless in the shadows, his face an emotionless mask. He parted his lips to emit a single, flat

command. “Speak.”

“My sister’s escape has absolutely nothing to do with me, I swear! Even the wedding modification was

something my father forced upon me at the last second…” She dropped her chin demurely, her fingers

twisting the fabric of her dress in a practiced display of helplessness.

“If you ask me, Chloe simply never held any genuine devotion for you. That’s why she meticulously planned

her departure right before the altar.”

Julian’s €, turned lethal, but he maintained a dead, stone-faced silence.

Failing to read the suffocating tension drop to absolute zero, Evelyn assumed her narrative was succeeding.

Lifting her wide, shimmering eyes, she forced a sudden look of pure realization. “My sister always possessed a crass, untamed nature anyway. She spent all her nights in those low-class clubs. Do you think…

she already secured another man on the side and ran off with him?”

Seeing that Julian remained entirely static, a surge of malicious glee flooded her chest. Taking a slow,

predatory step closer to his chair, her soft, delicate hand slithered onto his chest, her fingers slowly tracing

down toward his belt.

His patience evaporated entirely. Raising his boot, he delivered a brutal, heavy kick straight to her stomach.

A blood-curdling shriek cut through the air. Evelyn was sent flying across the room, her body crashing violently into the concrete corner, left curling into a tight ball as she shook from the intense physical trauma.

“Julian… what did I do wrong to make you this furious?”

“I only wanted to make you relax… I didn’t even request a reward…”

Julian glided across the floor until he stood directly over her broken form. Clamping his hand around her jaw, he forcefully tilted her face upward, studying the raw, tearful mask before spitting out a biting insult. “Your

theatrical talent truly is spectacular.”

Evelyn’s expression froze for a fraction of a second, a violent shock of panic flaring deep within her pupils, though she quickly tried to mask it behind a victimized whimper. “Julian… you’re simply suffering from

intense guilt over my sister, aren’t you? I understand… I’m completely willing to wait for you…”

Julian let out a cold, mocking laugh that sounded completely unhinged. Reaching into his pocket, he

snatched the high-definition printouts and slammed them violently across her face. “Open your goddamn

eyes and look at these. Tell me what the hell this is!”

“Julian, I—”

Before the words could even clear her throat, her gaze locked onto the image text. In a single heartbeat,

every ounce of color drained from her skin, her lower lip trembling so violently she lost the capacity to

speak.

The photograph rendered a vivid scene inside the hospital-Evelyn, her features contorted into a demonic,

unhinged sneer, forcing Chloe’s jaw open with one hand while violently cramming a toxic, gray fluid down her

throat.

“Who fabricated this?! Who is spreading these disgusting lies about me?!”

Evelyn’s legs turned to water, and she threw herself flat onto the concrete, clawing at Julian’s trousers. “You

recognize my character, Julian! I don’t even possess the heart’ to step on an ant! How could I ever treat my

own sister like that?! This is a calculated frame-up!”

Pack!

Julia

ng his arm back and delivered a blistering, heavy slap right across her cheek, nearly cracking her

jaw. Graubing her by the hair, he violently yanked her head back, his voice dropping into a dangerous snarl. “Still lying? Do I need to broadcast the footage of your little elevator stunt right onto the city’s electronic billboards before you accept reality?”

“Those street thugs you hired have already broken under interrogation. They detailed every single method you utilized to pollute Chloe’s life. Do you require me to recite them one by one?”

Evelyn’s entire frame convulsed with a raw, primal terror. Dropping her victimized armor entirely, she wrapped her arms around his boot, weeping hysterically. “I confess! I confess I was blinded by jealousy! But I swear to God I never forced her to leave the jurisdiction!”

“You unmitigated whore!”

The predatory light in Julian’s eyes exploded. Catching her by the collar, he forcefully lifted her off the floor and slammed her back against the concrete wall. “If it weren’t for your disgusting existence, she would never have broken! If it weren’t for your cheap mind games, none of this trauma would have touched her life!”

“An ungrateful, p itic piece of human waste. I treated you like family out of respect for Chloe, and this is how you repay my house?”

Evelyn was trembling so violently she could no longer clear her throat, her brain completely paralyzed by a

single realization.

She was finished. Legally, socially, physically.

A heavy security guard stepped through the doorway, slowly wheeling a massive metal industrial drum filled

to the brim with a thick, pungent, and completely blackened fluid.

“Don’t you possess a deep passion for chemical torture?”

Julian’s tone was completely flat, as if he were discussing a standard corporate ledger transaction. “Today,

you are going to experience your own methodology.”

Evelyn stared at the swirling, foul fluid, the distinct scent of decaying biological tissue and chemical waste

rising from the barrel. Her sanity completely shattered, and she let out a piercing shriek. “I know I was

wrong! I refuse to drink that! Please, Julian! I’ll surrender everything! I’ll… I’ll help you track down Chloe! I’ll find her for you…!”

Julian remained entirely stone-faced, offering a cold wave of his hand as he activated a high-end video

recording setup.

Instantly, two massive guards pinned her flailing limbs to the concrete, while a third forcefully pried her jaw

apart with an iron clamp. A fourth guard scooped a massive bowl of the foul fluid from the drum and poured

it straight down her throat.

The next second, a series of agonizing, skin-crawling shrieks ripped through the underground concrete cell.

“Keep fooding her,” Julian commanded coldly. “The moment her stomach rejects it, induce vomiting, and

repe cycle. For the next twenty-four hours.”

An hour later, Evelyn’s eyes were completely shot through with a dead, hollow ash. Her head hung limply to

the side, a thick trail of saliva mixed with bile dripping from the corner of her lip.

The constant, violent dry-heaving had completely pulverized her nervous system, leaving her a hollowed-out

shell devoid of any human soul.

Julian glided back into her field of vision, looking down at her like a god evaluating a broken insect.

“Only an hour, and you’re already catatonic? Where did that spectacular malice you used on my wife go?”

Evelyn lay motionless like a fresh corpse, her skin gray.

“Your mother made a career out of being a cheap mistress, and she birthed a shameless, low-class tramp.

You two vermin truly deserve each other.”

Evelyn’s fingers gave a sudden, microscopic twitch. A toxic surge of pure, concentrated venom flashed within her dying eyes. F ing her neck upward with a frantic, animalistic snarl, she screamed, “What kind of right

do you have to judge me, Julian?! If it weren’t for your implicit permission, how could I ever have secured the opportunity to destroy her?!”

“If your own behavioral patterns hadn’t broken her trust time after time, why the hell would she escape?!”

The mocking sneer on Julian’s features froze solid, his face contorting into an ugly, murderous grimace.

“Haha… hahaha! Accept reality, Julian Vance! You are the one who forced her out! Your own hands drove her

into exile! If she dies out there, you are the murderer! You are the cold-blooded executioner who cut her

throat! Carry that toxic guilt with you until you rot in hell!”

Evelyn had completely discarded any hope of survival, throwing every single lacerating word like a dagger

meant to rip his soul to ribbons.

Julian took a sharp, ragged breath, his fists clenching so hard his joints emitted a series of loud cracks.

“I will secure her return. But you… won’t be around to see it.”

The second the threat left his lips, five massive, bare-chested thugs glided into the cell, their eyes locked

onto Evelyn with a purely predatory amusement.

Evelyn’s pupils expanded in total horror, her jaw twitching violently as a fresh wave of panic took over. “No…

you can’t do this to me! No! Ahhhh!”

Very quickly, the rhythmic, horrifying screams of raw trauma echoed through the concrete columns.

But Julian merely lowered his eyes, entirely deaf to the physical carnage unfolding before him, his own eyes

burning crimson with an unbearable, suffocating pain.

“She… must have been this broken back then.”

“Yet I only ignored her tears, I ordered my men to strike her face.”

He slowly tilted his head back, his bloodshot eyes locked onto the concrete ceiling with absolute, unyielding

certainty. “I will trace your deployment, Chloe. Even if I have to scour the edge of the earth.”

Suddenly, the heavy reinforced door was violently thrown open by a breathless security chief.

“Mr. Vance! We’ve intercepted her deployment! We found the Madam!”
