My Husband’s Parking Trick Exposed His Affair Chapter 03

Andrew really was cheating on me. He had even brought his mistress into our home.

Trembling, I put away my phone and walked out of the bedroom. I stared at the spread of food on the table.

My heart ached sharply.

Andrew remembered every little thing about me. How my hands shook and my heart raced when I was hungry, how I loved his goodbye kiss before he left.

Yet he had forgotten one thing, I hated betrayal more than anything.

How ironic.

A man could shower me with love, yet bring another woman into our bed at the same time.

At that moment, I couldn’t help but wonder.

Of all the love I had once been so proud of, how much was real, and how much was just an act? When had he started seeing this woman?

I sat at the dining table for a long time, calming myself. Then something suddenly occurred to me.

As soon as I thought of it, I called my parents and asked them to come over immediately. Sensing my urgency, they arrived as quickly as they could.

“Lorette, what’s wrong? Why did you call us over in such a panic?”

I didn’t hide anything. I told them everything about Andrew’s cheating without holding back.

After listening, my father was completely incredulous.

“Lorette, could this be a misunderstanding? Everyone sees how well Andrew treats you.”

“He’s a surgeon, he’s on call all the time. Maybe he really did have an emergency surgery.”

“That post… could it just be a coincidence?”

My mother slammed the table.

“No way! How could there be such a perfect coincidence?”

“The post said park diagonally, and he parked diagonally. Lorette didn’t call and just walked in. That’s exactly what the post described. The poster said he snuck out to drive his mistress home, and Andrew made an excuse to leave. And there’s a strange earring in our house. How could that all be coincidence?”

My father frowned. “But Andrew has always valued Lorette more than his own life!”

My mother scoffed.

“So what? Just because he’s been good to her all these years doesn’t mean he won’t cheat now. Which man with a mistress isn’t a perfect husband and father at home? The better they act, the better they lie.”

My father had nothing to say. My mother grew angrier.

“Andrew, you bastard! When he was chasing Lorette, he knelt at our door for three days and nights, banged his head until it bled, and promised he’d treat her well. That’s why I agreed to let her marry him.”

“And now? Only two years into marriage, he dares bring a mistress into our house? He’s gone too far!”

My mother was furious. But I was mostly confused.

As my father said, Andrew had been unbelievably good to me over the years.

Young, successful, handsome, he’d never lacked women throwing themselves at him.

Even the hospital director’s daughter had flirted with him openly, even going so far as to declare that if Andrew chose her, the whole hospital would be his.

But Andrew hadn’t cared at all. He’d even offended her, nearly getting banned from the medical industry.

Still, he’d held me tightly and said, “I could lose the whole world, but I can’t lose you.”

That was why I couldn’t understand that. What kind of woman could make a man who valued loyalty above everything else betray me?
