My Husband’s Parking Trick Exposed His Affair Chapter 02

Andrew acted completely naturally.

There wasn’t a single flaw in what he said.

After all, every day when I got home from work, there was a hot meal waiting for me on the table.

Andrew was a surgeon, and his workload was enormous every single day. But no matter how busy he was, he always made time to come home and cook for me.

Sometimes I told him to take a break, not to work so hard, but he always said, “You have a weak constitution. When you get hungry, your heart races and your hands shake. I can’t take that lightly.”

“I have to make sure you come home to a hot, fresh meal every single day. Nothing, not even the biggest emergency, can get in the way of that.”

With that, Andrew went back to cooking.

Soon, the food was ready.

Beef stew with bread on the side, plus three other dishes, all my favorites.

Andrew served me a bread roll and was just about to sit down to eat with me when his phone rang.

He answered it, his brow immediately furrowing with tension.

“Got it. I’m on my way.”

He pulled off his apron in a hurry, looking anxious as he spoke to me.

“Honey, there’s an emergency patient at the hospital that only I can operate on. I have to go right now.”

He grabbed his car keys, pressed a soft kiss to my forehead, then rushed out the door.

The second it closed, the house went dead silent.

I sat at the table, staring at the spread of food, but I had no appetite at all.

That post was like a thorn stuck in my brain, impossible to pull out.

Andrew’s behavior and his story checked out completely.

But something still felt off.

I put down my fork, stood up, and found myself walking into the bedroom.

The room was immaculate, the bed made perfectly square by Andrew. At first glance, there was nothing wrong at all.

But the neater it was, the more uneasy I felt.

I searched the bedroom thoroughly.

The bed had no strange smells, no extra items. The closet showed no signs of being disturbed. The nightstand only held our usual things.

Even the trash can was spotless, not a speck of dirt. Everything was exactly as it always was.

Was I just overthinking this?

I shook my head, ready to leave the room, but as I turned to close the door, I saw something under the bed.

My heart stopped. I stepped closer, knelt down, and pulled it out.

It was an earring.

I didn’t have my ears pierced.

This belonged to another woman.

The second I realized that, my ears started ringing.

I stood there, staring at the earring in my hand, frozen for a long time.

Then I pulled out my phone and pulled up that post I’d seen earlier.

Sure enough, the original poster had replied to the comment he’d liked, just a minute ago.

“I parked diagonally across my wife’s spot like you said, but she came home without calling me to move it, and just walked right in.”

“If I hadn’t heard her unlock the door and told my mistress to hide early, I would’ve gotten caught red-handed.”

The commenter replied instantly: [Looks like your wife’s pretty sharp.]

The OP wrote back: [Yeah. I made an excuse to get out, and now I’m driving my mistress home.]
