My Husband’s Parking Trick Exposed His Affair Chapter 01

While I was getting gas at the station, I came across a local post that had gone viral.

[I’m having an affair, and she wants to come over to my place. But my wife gets off work at irregular hours. How can I make sure she doesn’t catch us?]

One person replied: [I’ve got experience. I have two parking spaces. Every time I hook up with my mistress at home, I park my car diagonally across both spaces. That way, when my wife gets back, she can’t park and calls me. I go down to move the car, and my mistress slips away unnoticed. I’ve been doing this for six months and haven’t been caught once.]

The comments section praised him for being clever, and the original poster liked the reply.

Even though I usually just lurked and watched the drama unfold, I couldn’t help but comment: [You’re all disgusting cheaters!]

But when I drove home, I saw my parking space blocked by my husband’s car, parked diagonally across both spots.

I stared at my husband’s car, parked diagonally across both spaces. It was something he’d never done before, not once in all the years I’d known him.

He was always so careful behind the wheel, never even coming close to touching a parking line.

I slammed on the brakes, my mind immediately flashing back to that post I’d seen at the gas station.

It has to be a coincidence, right?

Andrew Leto was known for being the ultimate devoted husband. We’d dated for five years, been married for two, seven years in total, and he’d doted on me every single day, treating me like I was something precious to be cherished.

He’d never let me set foot in the kitchen, never made me lift a finger to do housework. He knew I loved driving, so he’d bought me a Porsche for my birthday, and even made sure I had the parking spot right next to his.

Every time he parked, he’d pull his car as far over to his side as possible, just to give me an extra eight inches of space, making it easier for me to pull in.

How could a man who loved me this completely, who protected me so fiercely, ever do something to hurt me?

But that post wouldn’t leave my head.

I stared at Andrew’s car for a long time, then suddenly made a decision.

I didn’t call him to come move it.

Instead, I pulled into a temporary spot nearby, turned off the engine, got out, and headed inside.

I wanted to see if there really was a cheating husband in there, waiting for me to call so he could give his mistress time to slip away.

When I reached the front door, I pulled out my keys quietly, turning the lock as softly as I could.

The second the door opened, I headed straight for the bedroom. The door was ajar, and through the crack, I saw the room was empty.

I turned to the guest room next, pushed the door open, and still found no one

I checked the study, the bathroom, the balcony, even the storage closet, one by one.

Every room was silen and empty, with no one there.

Where was Andrew?

Just as I was growing confused, the kitchen door opened.

Andrew walked out, wearing an apron and holding a plate of food. When he saw me, he froze, looking surprised.

“Honey? Why are you home so early today?”

He set the plate down on the table quickly, grinning sheepishly at me.

“I was gonna make a few more dishes to have ready by the time you got off work. You’re home so early, I haven’t even finished cooking yet.”

I glanced into the kitchen. Chopped ingredients lined the cutting board, and on the stove was the pot of cream of mushroom soup I loved so much.

Clearly, he’d been busy in there for a while.

I let out a breath I didn’t know I was holding, and smiled.

“Nothing much going on at the office today, so I came home early.”

Andrew nodded. “Go rest for a bit. I’ll finish the last two dishes, and you can eat right after.”

With that, he headed back into the kitchen to keep cooking.

Watching his back as he worked, I couldn’t help but ask, “Why did you suddenly park your car diagonally across my spot today?”

Andrew looked back at me, a little embarrassed.

“Oh, I was worried you’d be hungry when you got home, so I rushed up to cook for you. I didn’t have time to park properly, just pulled it in diagonally and ran up.”
