I ignored him and walked straight ahead. 

Cassian got out of the car, grabbed my hand, and forced me into the passenger seat. 

I found it ridiculous. I had no idea what act he was putting on 

now. 

“Mine?” 

What mine? 

Cassian’s gaze fell on my stomach. His invisible stare felt as 

heavy as stone. 

So he had misunderstood and thought I was pregnant with his child. That was why he was angry and losing his mind. 

I quickly calmed down, but my heart felt like it had been 

soaked in lemonade, sour and raw. 

“Don’t worry. I’m not pregnant. And even if I were, I’d 

terminate it.” 

As soon as I said that, Cassian’s face turned awful. Even his 

lips went a shade paler. 

“Aurelia. You hate me that much.” 

“Why are you acting? You hate me too, don’t you? I was immature before and kept clinging to you. But don’t worry. I won’t show up in front of you anymore.” 

I absolutely would not bother him and Serena while they were in love. 

I admitted that when I saw the live comments, I felt unwilling for a moment. 

But I was even more afraid of turning into the crazy woman described by the comments. 

I should live freely like Paloma, not become the 

unrecognizable, vicious Aurelia. 

After I made things clear, the live comments were delighted. 

“That’s great. Aurelia finally woke up. Thank you for being willing to let the male lead go. Since you’re so beautiful and sensible, I’ve decided not to roast you anymore.” 

“Why does the male lead look like he wants to die? His eyes look so broken and scary.” 

“Actually, Aurelia is kind of pitiful. She and the male lead were childhood friends who grew up together. She was a spoiled young lady who always got whatever she wanted, but the first 

person she liked ended like this. All I can say is they weren’t right for each other.” 

“Wait, the male lead actually posted on Reddit asking for advice? The person he described sounds like Aurelia. What the hell is happening with this plot?” 

Following the information in the live comments, I took out my 

phone and opened the app to search for the post. 

Relationship Advice: “Girl I love says she’d terminate my baby. What do I do?” 

Cassian explained the whole story. 

“I’ve had feelings for her for many years, but she doesn’t like me. She even pursued me because of a bet. I was afraid that if I agreed, she would stop wanting me, so I never dared say yes. Two weeks ago, something happened between us by mistake. When we woke up, she changed completely and said we should go our separate ways. Today she even said that if she were 

carrying my baby, she would terminate it.” 

“What should I do? I never even agreed to be her boyfriend, 

and she’s already done with me. She really doesn’t like me. I’m losing it.” 

The replies immediately stirred things up. 

“Real talk, are you bad in bed? Or too small? One experience and she cut losses.” 

“Because of a bet? You sure she really doesn’t like you?” 

Cassian replied, “I’m sure. I overheard her betting with her friends. She said she’d catch and release me for fifty–two K. So I never agreed.” 

“She’s done with you. Accept it. Your girl’s gone.”

I was stunned too. 

“What? What is going on? How does the male lead like Aurelia? He must be talking about the female lead, right? Definitely the female lead.”

When someone called him a bastard behind his back, she rushed up and fought them. Aurelia made him wear Halloween costumes and cosplay with her, but Cassian slept in her arms so sweetly.” 

“It’s all messed up. Everything is messed up. What about Serena? Isn’t the male lead supposed to always keep Serena’s silk ribbon? Isn’t she his first love? Whoever the female lead 

chooses is the male lead.” 

“So the male lead is kind of trash, right? Two women in his heart? Dropped. What garbage is the author writing?” 

The live comments argued nonstop. 

I kept thinking about when I had ever said chasing him was a 

bet. 

Before I could figure it out, someone knocked on my door.
