Amnesia Erased Luna’s Pain and Love Chapter 25

Amnesia Erased Luna’s Pain and Love Chapter 25 His Birthday Wish

Axel pulled up in front of a restaurant. Shutting off the engine, he turned to Florence in the passenger seat and grinned.

“Florence, I’ve been on my best behavior today. Don’t you think I deserve a little reward?”

They’d grown more comfortable with each other these past few days, the awkwardness slowly fading.

Florence closed the folder in her lap and raised an eyebrow. “And why, exactly, do you deserve a reward?”

“I played the role of your loving fiancé flawlessly. Even managed to scare off your ex.” His tone was playfully smug.

“You actually looked into my past?” she asked, feigning offense.

Though they had worked together a few times now and had built some familiarity, she couldn’t help but question how he had figured out Baldwin’s identity so quickly.

“Hey, don’t blame me-your story’s not exactly a secret,” Axel replied with a mock pout.

“Still, I think I earned at least something for the effort, right? I’ve worked hard to help you today.”

She had grown used to his playful antics and shook her head with a chuckle. “Fine. What do you want?”

“Lunch,” he said with a grin, hopping out of the car. “Right here. This place just opened, and I’ve been dying to try it.”

He was already stepping out of the car, circling around to open her door with gentlemanly flair, offering her his hand.

Florence hadn’t expected his request to be that simple.

With a smile, she accepted.

Midway through their lunch, Axel set his fork down and looked at her with uncharacteristic seriousness. “Actually, today’s my birthday.”

Florence was stunned by that revelation.

“Wait-what? Why didn’t you tell me earlier? I didn’t get you a gift!”

“No need,” he interrupted gently.

:

“But since it’s my birthday, can you grant me one wish?”

He looked serious, which was rare for him. Inexplicably, Florence nodded slowly. “Alright.”

He drew in a deep breath. His gaze softened. “Florence, I have a crush on you. From the moment I saw you at the airport, I fell in love with you. And as we’ve gotten to know each other, that feeling’s only grown stronger.

“I want to be with you-for real. Will you be my girlfriend? I want to stand beside you, openly and proudly.

“You don’t have to decide right away. Take your time; test me if you need to. And if, someday, you’re sure of me, I’ll take the oath as your chosen mate. I’ll declare to every wolf in Galeborn Pack that you’re my Luna.

“And if you say no, I’ll still wait for you.

“I love you, Florence.”

Florence stared at him, dumbstruck. His words were raw, honest, and kind. Her eyes stung with unshed tears.

For the past three years, she’d lived as if she were invisible in her relationship-humble, desperate, forgotten. Not once had she been loved so openly, so bravely.

Now, the man standing before her was, in his quiet way, gently healing her wounds.

“Okay,” she whispered.

A genuine, radiant smile bloomed on her lips-one that had been absent for far too long.

A year later, Florence saw Baldwin’s name in the news.

He had handed over leadership of the Nightfang Pack to his cousin and gone into self- imposed exile in the forest for spiritual retreat.

Before he left, he had Ursa locked away in a high-security prison built for dangerous werewolves. What awaited her was an unending sentence of torment.

Florence’s parents had reached out after Ursa’s downfall, trying to repair their broken relationship. But she had refused.

Loving Ursa was one thing-painful, but understandable. But choosing someone else over their daughter?

That, she could never accept.

Still, she accepted the card they sent her-only to donate every cent from it to Nightfang Pack’s charity fund.

Looking back at the twisted ends of those once-familiar people, she felt only quiet reflection.

Axel wrapped his arms around her from behind, resting his chin on her shoulder. “What were you thinking about? You’ve been staring off for a while.”

Florence shook her head. “Nothing much. Just feeling a little nostalgic.”

Axelgently turned her to face him, meeting her eyes, his tone suddenly serious. “Then answer me this-between me and Baldwin, who’s better looking?”

She burst out laughing at his pouty, childlike expression. “Hmm, I don’t know. I think he might be a little more handsome.”

Axel widened his eyes in mock horror. “What?! No way. There’s no way I lost to him!”

Watching him get all flustered, Florence couldn’t stop the laughter bubbling out.

Sunlight streamed through the tall windows, bathing them in a golden glow-warm, hopeful.

She leaned into his embrace, heart full. Every second of this moment was worth treasuring.

The past, with all its pain, was behind her. Now, she was the Tactical Director of Mene College -admired and respected by all. Aspiring young werewolves from across the country lined up just for the chance to train under her. No one cared that she was an omega.

And more than that-she was the beloved Luna of the Galeborn Pack. The road ahead was long, but for the first time, she knew-she was walking it with the right person by her side.
